My husband and I agreed they gave us a fair price. We have used them a 2nd time after damage from a storm. We have been pleased with their work. Plus they are easy to contact when you need them.

Earlier this year, our gutters and front awning were damaged in a storm. I'm normally a DIY kind of person, but I've been suffering from a lack of mobility for the past year or so after a back injury, and found that I wasn't going to be able to get around to doing any kind of repair myself. We dreaded the cost, but bit the bullet and reached out to a few local contractors. These guys responded quick, came out quick for the initial assessment and quote, and gave us a reasonable price and timeframe for the work. A few other companies had comparable prices, several were much more expensive, but the professional communication from this team sold us. The job had to be rescheduled, at first, because of weather, and then again due to the unpredictable schedules that come with custom work, but they responded quickly to calls and e-mails, and kept us in the loop. Finally, the big day came, and during the course of setting up to work, they noticed some issues with our house's novel construction, especially with the way our roofers had not left much of an overhang with our drip edge and shingles. At first, we were worried this was going to turn into a much more expensive job, or that we'd have to start shopping around again, but were pleasantly surprised when the owner himself came out to take a look, with one of their more senior employees, who quickly identified a likely solution. Not only are they going forward with the job as soon as possible, but they're honoring their original quote despite the extra work and materials, partially to make up for the initial scheduling delays. A far better experience, so far, than being left in the dark by other companies we've worked with recently, and it's refreshing to have a company honor their own quote without sneaky fees, last-minute upselling, or bait-and-switch tactics even in the face of unforeseen complications. I'm impressed.

Misrepresented the installer, they use untrained subcontractors. I could continue with issues, but there was no positive to dealing with Champion of Lexington, KY.

In 2015 I had my back porch, which is essentially a sunroom without the windows. Just caulk under the porch and refreshing of the tape that goes over the seams on top. In 2015 this was less than $300. One person came out and was here less than two hours. As of this week, they have quoted the same job is now $1500!!! they claim inflation. Inflation does not warrant that they require two people to come out instead of one.. it makes no reason as to why two employees need 4 to 6 times longer than one person did to do it. They told me that they upcharge 70% on all of their materials.. !!! that is way beyond inflation. so they will deceive you and get you to give them $130 for a quote and then they will try to charge you five times the amount that it should be and refuse to give you a refund for the rip off quote. I'm sure you can tell by the other of you you should not do business with this company they will absolutely rip you off. Don't pay them for a quote because they are going to try to quote you an insane amount of money and you will not be able to get your money back. For wasting your time. Jimmy was the technician that came to my house. He came by himself. He said he didn't know anything about pricing. he obviously didn't know anything about estimating the time it would take to do the work either since he estimated it four or six times more than the last Champion employee it must be an incentive or some sort of compensation for the amount of money they can get out of you. It was not even a reasonable time he could've went to sleep and taken that much time.! especially because he was quoting two people which they say is now required and that two people would take 4 to 6 times longer than one person which is just no rhyme or reason it's just a rip off. the 70 percent of charge of all of their materials should definitely make you run away because you're gonna have to do maintenance on it eventually and this is what you have to look forward to. not a rip off on hourly rate, but the 70% up charge on the materials, and 4 to 6 times longer on the labor than should be required. Do yourself a favor and do not ever buy from this company. It has horrible feedback. Take that for what it is because it is horrible.
