A great garden center and a smart home center where you can design and order entire houses! We found plenty of friendly help who seemed engaged and ready to help if you needed it. It's a fun store to shop combining a great selection, competitive prices and several ways to get into the parking lot. Some people will be able to do all their shopping here with canned and dry goods, cleaning supplies, bathroom soaps and lotions, snacks, frozen foods and many upper Midwest canned goods like honey and jams. It's hard to call it a hardware store, maybe a home center, lumber yard, construction supplies, grocery store and garden center? The store was a mess. Clothes were fallen down in almost every department, the trash cans out front…read morewere over flowing with trash, and the bathroom soap dispensers (two of them) were out of order and taken apart fully. The batteries were missing on one and were on top of the sink for the other one. A stranger and I had to pull the soap out and manually pump it just to wash our hands. The self check out line was backed up across the aisle and all other check out stations were empty. I was offered to check out at Starbucks. I was born and raised in Joplin so this was a pretty surprising and disappointing experience.

I will not be coming back to this location. This was the worst case of lack of customer service I have encountered in a long time. With things so easy to purchase online, I would think Target would treat customers who actually come into the store with a little common courtesy.

Which I'm sure she does not wanna be treated the way she was treating the other employees in the back. I really feel bad for all the ones that work with her.
