The exterior of this store is very deceiving because it looks tiny, but it's actually enormous (just not very wide across the front). It is not well marked by signs, and I almost drove past it but it is right next door to McDonald's and a large attached convenience store (near the highway). Three teenagers were behind the counter the entire time discussing a server they hated at IHop. They discussed the horrible customer service, how annoying she was and how little they tipped her. They discussed this so loudly there wasn't a place in the store you couldn't hear them at. When we approached the counter, one was actively sitting on it facing away from us. We were standing there staring directly into her lower side. Not only was the experience incredibly unprofessional, it made me wonder what manners we're teaching teenagers today! So sad. They have a lot of women's business clothing in good condition from the 70s-90s which makes excellent "raw material" for those who may like to put their own twist on things. Lots of blouses, dresses, skirts and jackets that can be updated and made to fit into present day fashions. Also a LOT of men's nice shirts especially in sizes L/XL and XXL. Think "dad" shirts like denim and corduroy and flannel, but all clean and in good condition. Low prices. The guy running this place is very friendly and personable, and seems open to haggling and making special deals. We bought some clothing and he gave us several old magazines for free (we were gonna buy them anyway). He said that due to the Route 66 location they have shoppers come in from all over the world. Their shoes and bags were not in the best shape, but again this place is cheap! There is not really room for a lot of housewares or furniture due to the shop's size but it's charming and fully stocked. I would absolutely return.

It's a nice decent sized store for it being on the smaller size for a grocery store. They offer produce, meats, dairy, drinks, breads, frozen foods, snacks, and much more! They have a full service check out as well as self checkout. I normally just do the self checkout. To keep costs down, you must bring a quarter. You insert it in the slot and pull the chain. Once done, put it back and push yours into the other carts. Reinsert that chain and it'll push your quarter back out! Genius! I like Aldi's for being a budget grocery store. They have the basics. They also offer those one of a kind deals. If you like it, buy extra because the next shopping trip, it won't be there!! Overall, it was a nice shopping experience. Ample parking. Friendly staff.

It's located in the South part of Joplin Missouri and is in a pretty nondescript shopping plaza across the street from a Thai restaurant and they sell lots of discounted goods and they hardly ever have anyone in here so it makes for a really great discount store and I'm honestly not sure how they stay in business with these prices on so many products and often being so quiet (at least the few times I've been by here or in here) but I'm glad that they do as they are a great discount store and better than most dollar stores and a true credit to Joplin and what is coolest of all is that this was a really long sentence to signify the fact that it'll probably be a really long time until I come back here again and anyway I think it's time to wrap this up now like another really long thing when you're not someone that wants to have kids.

If you're interested in rocks and gems, there is a stall in the back with a sign that says: "rocks and minerals". The man who owns it used to own a rock or a jewelry store back in the day and as a result has a lot of good stock. Another stall, not too far from his sells vintage photographs. He had a interesting collection but unfortunately did not buy anything since my partner, who was showing me around the area planned to take me to their favorite spot for vintage photos.
