It's not chunks of ice like some snow cones are. It's the texture of actual snow. The prices aren't bad either. He accepts cards this year. You get a lot for your money. He fills them up over the cup so you get about twice the amount of the cup. The small is $3 but it's plenty for me. There's a small parking lot right next door so you can usually find a spot. First, I am a sucker for a locally owned business but this is really cool. Some kid, Big Mike, he owns and runs it himself. Literally, he's just graduated high school and he runs this show. It was super. First, they have three sizes and you can pick up to three flavors. I only got watermelon because that's how I roll. Leslie got cherry and lime, I think she enjoyed hers. They have mango, strawberry, grape, blueberry, green apple, blue razberry, cherry, black cherry (racist), banana, bahama mama, lemon lime (which I thought read Le Monlime because of the way it's painted and I was drunk), watermelon, and pink lemonade. I will try the black cherry next time because I am inclusive and an ally. Second, Big Mike is cash only. There is a PNC bank ATM in the MidCity Mall (where you parked anyway) and a PNC bank on the corner as well (where you parked if it's after seven and you were going to Ramsi's, and you were). Third, those sizes are huge YUGE. They are so big you'd think that they were proportioned by a fishing tale told by a politician. I regret not getting a bigger one. Keep that in mind if you're bringing your human children, don't load them up with sugar by getting them too big a treat and then loose them on the rest of us. That's uncool. There is also a lovely seating area, decorated with Christmas lights, with those metal chairs your Maw Maw or Nana liked to have in her back yard that were HOT AS FIRE as well as a picnic table behind the structure where Big Mike works. I think he lives there, too. He has to tip the building on the side though so he can lay down at night. I say your "Maw Maw" and "Nana" because my grandmother is a vampire and doesn't leave when the sun is out. She also cannot see her reflection, which is alright because she's ghastly. read more
