My appointment was 8:00 and was met very timely on that. A few minutes later my wife's car was diagnosed. The diagnosis was in need of brake pads and rotors for both axels. I told Mike I needed an oil change as well. He said he would include that. I was given a price with several discounts he said and the total came back as $1354. I said ouch how long can I go he said it needs done ASAP. I said ok well I would rather get it done then put my wife back in danger. I was there a total of 2 hours and 25 minutes. Ten minutes after I sat there I received two quotes on my email and both quotes came in at 860 and 927. I approached the counter and asked if my car was already started and he said yes. I sat there in the lobby in total embarrassment the whole entire time. I paid Mike and I explained my disappointment. He said he does not make prices I said I understand I left and went straight to auto parts store and was quoted with tax for all parts $643. Yes I was told I now have a warranty 36,000 miles but knowing that I paid over $300 an hour for labor is absolutely inexcusable. The staff was friendly but I am a guy that knows nothing about cars and loves his wife so dearly to make sure she is taken care of. Knowing how bad and over charged I was today I will definitely not be back to Brookwood Automotive.

When my husband had additional questions he took us in his shop and showed us spot on what the results would resemble. He was true to his word in giving us what we needed and the price and timeframe of completion was spot on. The whole experience was delightful. Although he's a very busy man I enjoyed that he took time to educate us about his business and expertise! He has high dollar products he works on to the low budget needs.
