Had horrible service! Ordered a bedroom set a few weeks ago and salesman said that I would get a call before delivery letting me know if anything was on back order. On delivery day, driver let me know that some items were on back order (no call from store). Only got headboard & footboard, a temporary frame (could not attach headboard etc), mattress, box springs, and a damaged chest of drawers (delivery guy was smart enough not to even unload it off of truck). I went to the store and spoke to Trevor who is supposed to be the Operations Manager. Come to find out, the missing pieces were out of stock and all Trevor could say was "I don't know what else to tell you". Could tell me when,or IF, I would even get the pieces. Several clerks were on computers trying to locate pieces but what good does a chest do me if I can't get the other matching pieces? After a loooong, drawn-out process, finally got refund on all furniture (kept mattress & box springs) and will have to start over shopping elsewhere. Also, during my visit to the store to resolve the issue, I placed a call to the corporate office trying to get someone who knew what they were doing. Left message for district manager, but of course, he never called me back. I will never do business with this store again. read more

Tara Malone on the Bridge St Store was my sales lady. very helpful. I have disability in standing/walking to long and informed of exactly what I was looking for, I said a Sectional that wasn't the cheapest in and my a huge expensive one, that I was on SSD and I lived in a double wide. And I wanted gray, but not a light gray and a recliner to match was a must. And wanted something in stock. After the second one, she took me to exactly what I had asked for. She was very professional about her job. However, when delivered the recliner did not come. Warehouse did not notify the store the recliner was damaged and I was upset that I was not for warned. However, also I need to add the reorder of the recliner was in a significant time frame. I will rate the sectional when the 2 middle parts of it is replaced due to tear in seam. The 2 section part needs reordered. So far Big Sandy is doing there best to accommodate all matters. They are even supposed to discount $100 for inconvenience. Once the section part is replaced I will update end results. I'm feel confident the will make this right. i have shopped Big Sandy's in Chillicothe for years and continue to shop there again. read more

I made it around the entire store before I was greeted but the store was quite busy And I like to browse without being bombarded at first. Ms. Lisa Craze introduced herself to me and offered to help I was undecided so I promised to call or come back. She gave me her business card which helped me to remember her name. (Smart) When I came back I was quickly greeted this time & I asked for Lisa She got me set up for delivery right away. I was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes which made me happy I absolutely love that delivery text me before leaving the warehouse as they were also in route before delivering and the guys showed up within the time frame promised They were wearing masks & were very polite young men. Ms Jenny followed up with a completed delivery text to see how everything went and this survey was given as an option.This was a very pleasant buying experience I'll have to see how long the furniture last before I can rate the quality of the furniture. Several days before Christmas 2022 my DW quit. I was only about 8 weeks out from my second total knee replacement and recovery was not going too well. Got a tech to look at it-it had been rat attacked. We opted to purchase a new one-went that night to pay for it and get our delivery set for the following Tuesday. Three hours after install it stopped! Ugh! Got a tech out he had to order a part. Installed part and two hours later it stopped! Tech came back out-he had to dig to figure out why it stopped. As it turned out it had been damaged at the factory and was not fixable. The next day I was able to order a different one as LG was taking this one back. I was able to finally get the one that was not in stock a few weeks before that I wanted. It was installed yesterday 1/13/23. They have excellent Flexsteel recliners at good prices, and an excellent 5 yr total coverage warranty is available at a great price! To top that off, the warranty is even refundable towards your next purchase, if you don't need to use it during the coverage period. Just received the white glove delivery of my new recliner, with haul away of my older Flexsteel recliner, which still works good and looks great. Alex the delivery driver, and his partner were very courteous and helpful in removing my old Flexsteel recliner, taking care to maneuver around various obstacles carefully, so as to avoid any damages to my house and other furniture. And the headrest is adjustable too..plus, like the car seat options I had wanted in my car, you can pick your favorite settings and save them!! We had a great exerience with delivery of all appliances for new home contruction. Our order came in two different times due to manufacturing delay and one item damaged and waiting replacement. We ordered refigerator, oven/micowave wall combo unit, dishwasher, stove top, washer and dryer. From order to delivery all went extremely well! Throughout the process the team stayed in touch until the final items were completed and installed. The gentlemen who installed did a fantastic job and were so kind. We look forward to using all of the new items we received. We purchased Samsung products for our new home and so far we love them all! My wife and I just got married and needed some furniture so we went into Chillicothe Big Sandy. Tara was our salesperson. She was great. We were just looking to get an idea. Tara took us around showed us some great furniture and great deals. Next thing ya know we bought furniture and used Acima to pay for it. If you don't know about that research it. It's a great program. Then we had to keep postponing deliver and finally got it delivered. They sent us an app we're we could track the delivery dudes and they were here 10 minutes before they said they were. John and the other dude were great! We were putting some of the stuff in the attic and they did a great job getting that very heavy furniture upstairs. Great people, great furniture! Couldn't be more happy! Final purchase experience was fantastic thanks to Kara!! First time my husband & I went in to look for a some new sofas, we weren't thrilled with the associate we were introduced to. She followed us around after stating several times that we were gonna look around. When we finally found something we wanted to price & see if it were in stock... she immediately tried to print us an invoice and push up to sales! We made her aware that we wanted to talk it over, she immediately seemed frustrated and walked away from us. I called in a couple days later, getting in contact with Kara, who was absolutely amazing from the get go!! If I could give a 0 I would. The delivery staff was wonderful. Long story, I purchased a bed from the Chillicothe store. The bed had drawers. When it was delivered the drawers were broken. I contacted the Chillicothe store and asked that the sales person or manager call me. No one called. I contacted the delivery people myself and they sent out another crew to fix the drawers. They could not be repaired. Called Chillicothe again and asked that the manager call me. No one called. I went into the store and finally got to talk to the manager. It was obvious he needed more training in customer service. After 3 times to my home I finally have a bed that works. Again, the delivery people were the ONLY people that helped. I needed a couple of recliners for my rv. The sales lady, Jess, listened to my requirements and pointed me in the direction of recliners. She never once tried to sell me something bigger or better! With her tape measure, we took all kinds of measurements in all positions to be certain it would fit through the rv doorway. I called from home to order and pay once we measured there too. Delivery couldn't have gone more smoothly! I received texts, emails, and even a map from the office to keep me informed of where the delivery truck was so I knew when to expect him! Was truly satisfied with Big Sandy in Chillicothe Ohio from beginning to end. Chalie, the sales associate, listen to my needs and made great suggestions. She did not pressure me and helped me measure. When I went back to make the purchase the staff had my paperwork ready to go. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Delivery was less than 10 after my purchase. I was really impressed with the constant text communication for day before and on delivery day. Everything was great! I definitely would recommend the chillicothe locations for any of your needs. The day i ordered the couch i walked in and they greeted me right away. The nice thing was that they really let me check everything out and didn't hover over me and gave me space and time to look at everything. The delivery was just as easy. I was contacted about 3 days before they scheduled my delivery and asked if the date worked for me. After we agreed on a delivery date they reminded me the night before the delivery and then again the day off the delivery. They let me know when the delivery driver was making its way to us. The lady that waited on us in store was awesome. She went above and beyond. Even got us a free 100 dallors end table. As for the delivery and delivery guy 110 percent there as well. The movers even helped me move a chair because I didn't realize how much room the couch was going to take up. I was extremely impressed that I also got 3 texts updates on when it was going to be delivered. So impressed it had a link to a map showing exactly where the truck was. One my biggest pet peeves is waiting all day for deliveries ECT. Even got a text saying it would be delivered in 45 minutes or less. Everything I picked out was fantastic. The delivery process needs some work. I work night shift and attempted to set an alarm based on the proposed time the app gave me. This was impossible because the time changed based on the 2 man crew's pace at each location before mine. The furniture items I ordered were very heavy and that crew was already pretty spent from the 8 deliveries before mine. I really hope you pay your delivery folks a great wage because Justin and the other man (sorry, didn't get his name) worked their tails off trying to get a large piece up my stairway without causing damage. We bought the 3-piece set to replace our aging furniture and it was a great experience. Our salesman Freddie was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Delivery was delayed a couple of times due to the winter storms, but it was easy to reschedule. The guys who delivered our things were professional, helpful, and polite. They tested each piece to make sure the recliners worked, and removed all packaging and assembled each piece. The set is awesome.
