I had been putting off buying a new mattress for longer than I should have simply because I dreaded dealing with mattress salesmen. I bought my previous mattress online 10 years ago because I didn't want to go to a store, it was cheap, and I needed it quickly. Huge mistake and non-refundable/returnable. I could feel the springs through it on day one, and I've just dealt with it ever since by putting foam toppers on top and trying to mask the problem. The day of the appointment went very smoothly, and Ben is very welcoming and personable. He asked all the right questions to figure out the right mattress for me and my boyfriend and let us try various ones out before we committed. It was truly the best "salesman" experience I've ever had. And he even delivered it and took away my old mattress for free! This plush mattress we ended up purchasing is so comfortable. The private appointment makes it possible to walk in and immediately be welcomed and begin discussing what you are looking for. There are no distractions or feeling of being rushed while trying out the various mattress options. My appointment time was at 1 p.m and by 3:00 p.m. the next day the mattress was on the bed in my house. No surprises on delivery time. You receive text messages keeping you updated as to their anticipated arrival time . Ben, the owner, and his employee delivered the mattress. Both were professionally dressed and wore booties over their shoes to avoid tracking in any debris. They completed the delivery in less than 15 minutes. CBUS will deliver your used mattress to a charitable organization and dispose of any packing materials. All of this and delivery are complimentary. The white glove treatment became very evident when the box spring size (that I selected) was too high for the bed. Ben immediately volunteered to remove the box spring, take it back to the warehouse and bring another lower profile box spring. He returned within 25 minutes with a different box spring which was perfect. Now tell me what other business would go to this extreme for a customer? I got an insanely comfortable queen size mattress today and I will likely sleep like an angel tonight knowing I got a sick deal. This dude Ben is the best. I've been shopping for a bed in person and online for 3 weeks and today I found the best queen mattress I've tested out in the price range I was hoping to stay in. Exactly what I was looking for and it's a major name brand so I don't have to wonder about long term quality or warranty. These aren't off brand outlet trash mattresses. It was instantly noticeable how much better these were than the other pillow tops I've been checking out around town all day at chain stores. There's a good reason why Ben has all 5 star reviews. This is the best customer service I have ever received. I literally just moved to Columbus from California, hadn't even been here a day, and needed a mattress that night. He helped me even though it was past closing and offered free same day delivery. He even threw in free sheets and a mattress protector! Even if he hadn't, his prices are so low that a nicer name brand mattress here with sheets and a protecter costs way less than a store brand "cheap" one at mattress firm. Ben also takes great care to find the perfect mattress for you. He's not there to upsell you on a fancier model like other salesmen. When I first booked a consultation, I prepared myself for paying a lot more for a custom mattress... The Elvis Juice and LaCroix on arrival basically confirmed that. What a rare blend of remarkable customer service and price breaks that come from less overhead! CBUS only handles a few brands, all top quality. Ben, the owner, was knowledgeable and patient, even with my pessimistic elderly husband. My husband and I did a lot of research on split king adjustable beds and we booked a personal appointment to find out more. We tried them all out with no pressure from Ben and chose one. Ben ordered it and we planned for it to reside in his warehouse until we moved to our new home in two months. Now, here is where a five-star review gets 100 stars in my book: fast forward two weeks. I was in an accident and needed a hospital-type bed. I called Ben (on his day off) and his awesome delivery guy immediately delivered one half the bed (which works either as a twin or two together as king size) and set it up in my living room in about 15 minutes. He will deliver the other half when we move. I am so very grateful for this bed that allows me the mobility assistance I will need for a few weeks and I am extremely grateful for Ben and his delivery guy, Joshua, for their over-the-top care and service. I was looking to replace my mattress and found Cbus on Yelp. It had great reviews so I stopped by. The location is in a somewhat industrial commercial business strip. The owner, Ben, was not in so I called the phone number. He said he was out delivering a mattress and that I could schedule an appointment. Although you should schedule an appointment and typically can't just drop in, it's worth it. I made an appointment online for the next day. When I arrived, Ben offered my boyfriend and I something to drink and there was low music playing. You are made to feel right at home. This is a personalized, one on one consultation. He discusses your needs and makes recommendations. You are able to lay on the mattresses and try them out. It is a small place and has only has about 10 options to choose from. The one we picked was in stock and he offered to deliver same day, but we decided on next day. He offered a free delivery promotion and there are often additional discounts on the website or Yelp. Ben even added some complimentary accessories. The one thing to note is that he does not offer pick up and disposal of your old mattress, but he does provide information for a service that will pick it up at no charge. I spent a little more money than I intended, but the service seemed worth it. Ben came out personally and set everything up. Something else to note: there is no trial period or return policy. Once it's delivered, you won't be able to change your mind. *Update- The mattress I purchased was at the higher price point, but has lost support already which is disappointing. He was definitely a breath of fresh air after going to Mattress firm and having a team of salesmen try to sell me a bed I didn't want for a ridiculous price. Ben was not focused on selling me a bed. Ben is one of the nicest most genuine people you will meet. I was nervous going into mattress shopping, scared I would be conned into paying too much for a poor quality mattress. After reading the phenomenal reviews on yelp for CBUS mattress, I knew it was where I would get a good quality mattress for a great price, but most importantly from an honest person.
