We had been dealing with yellow jackets since July, which is early, and they were worse than recent years. Then my husband got stung twice while mowing the yard, which required epipen application and ambulance to ER since he is highly allergic. Two weeks later and I get stung mowing the yard. I am not allergic but still, not a fun experience. We could see the yellowjackets swarming a old gopher hole in the front yard and knew we couldn't just wait until winter for them to go dormant so we checked around and found Big Time Pest control. They were able to come out within a few days, at a reasonable price, and kill the large nest that was in the hole. I have been using Mike and his team at Big Time Pest Control at our house for about 4 years. When we first used them we had spiders and webs all around our house. After the FIRST spray, the critters were gone. We have not had issues with ants, black widows or even spider webs in the garage. They are amazing! They spray every 2 months and with our contract will come back any other time in between scheduled service if needed. I understand Weaverville is off the beaten path but I see your company trucks up here a lot, so why don't I get put on the schedule? You have done other work for me and i pay promptly upon the completion of the job. I was more than patient with Big Time when your employee broke a piece of slate on my front stairs. I never got angry or complained as I waited 6 months for your company to locate and replace the piece of discontinued slate. Again, as soon as the job wes complete, I paid prompty. I rarely give reviews and I do so now in order to see Big Time Pest become a better company and improve on their quality of work and service. If we all didn't have some feedback in life then we wouldn't improve. We are first time home buyers and while in escrow back in December 2016 we had to have a ton of siding replaced due to it being warped from the rains, etc. Big Time came out to our house, was nice and showed good service. After the job was done there was a water spout on the side of the house that I requested to be redone because it looked awful and water would get behind the wall and warp it again. They immediately came out and fixed it good as new. They also replaced a part of the siding on the front of the house that they weren't supposed to repair. Since Dec 2016, I've realized (now that is incredibly hot outside) that back in Dec they forgot to reconnect the electrical on my sprinkler system. For weeks I was manually turning on my system in the back yard. I finally hired a professional irrigation specialist and he managed to repair it for $45. There's still one other portion of the irrigation system that isn't repaired because the cost will be $200. Nearly every time I go to the side of my house I find at least 2 to 3 nails from the job back in Dec 2016. They did a horrible job cleaning up. I had the outside of my house painted this weekend and I found a half a dozen nails yesterday as I was doing a walk around with the painters. I've found and picked up nearly 50-75 nails since Jan 2017. read more

Horrible service. They are dishonest and simply do not care about customers. They just want your money in my opinion. I missed a few payments because my cc was stolen. That was my bad that I didn't get them the new one in time but when I called and squared up the payment they said I needed to sign up for another year in order to continue or pay $100 cancellation fee! Feel like getting ripped off call big time. I had a big fly problem and they showed up did there thing talked my ear off then had me sign a piece of paper. It turns out the paper was a year contract that I knew nothing about. They never said one thing about a contract. Yes I should read everything before I sign but you would think they would explain that is what I was signing. Now not only do I still have a fly problem I am getting phone calls and letters about them wanting there monthly payment. I would recommend anyone but these guys, What a joke! read more

They will help you get rid of bugs and critters even in between treatments. They even sent out a tech on a weekend day when our house sitter noticed yucky critters. Less than a month and a half later all the small ants are back in the house and I see plenty of Carpenter Ants outside. I was told they would come back if the ants came back soon.
