My best friend also got her septum pierced and she had a great time as well. This review is solely directed at the blonde female piecer, whom I believe is named Kathleen. I don't recall her introducing herself, but a certificate on the wall read Kathleen, so I'm guessing that's her name. This review is not about the tattoo artists or the other piercer, Froggy, that is mentioned in others reviews. From other reviews, they all seem great. Unfortunately, my experience with Kathleen was just about as bad of a piercing experience someone could possibly have. I went in to get my left nostril pierced. I already have my right nostril, as well as my septum - so I'm aware of the general piercing process. When she drove the needle through my left nostril, she went too far and ended up cutting my TOP LIP!!!!! (photo attached). She had the needle in my nose for several minutes, fumbling to get the jewelry in properly. After about 5 minutes of twisting and turning my nostril, a piece of plastic fell into my shirt and she said oops we'll have to do that again. (We did not attempt again as I would have been a total idiot to let her take a third stab). The twisting, or whatever she was doing, was so painful and absolutely NOT a part of the normal process. I could tell something was VERY VERY wrong. I've never experienced pain like this, despite having many other piercings, several tattoos, and having gone through a laser tattoo removal. I literally almost fainted from the continual tugging and prodding. My nostril is near purple today from all the trauma to my cartilage. If Froggy is available, by all means, try him out. However, if you walk in to find a blonde female piercer, just leave and save yourself the EXTREMELY terrible and painful experience. read more

Big Time Tattoos and Piercings are back open and...I just don't know how things could get any more sanitary in such a professionally ran shop, but Bill and the gang are going the extra mile. When you arrive, you remain in your car and call in to announce your arrival. Your artist comes out to your car to get you, when they are ready for you. Only one masked up client is allowed in the lobby at one time. The regular Covid screening questions are asked and your temperature taken. There is hand sanitizer available and there are separate "clean" and "dirty" cups for pens used to sign forms. They also are now accepting electronic payments, due to the weird "coin shortage" going on. As usual, my experience was phenomenal. I just can't say enough good things about this shop and the artists that work there. It continues to be the same artists there with one new gal...just a great environment. read more

I've gotten my eyebrow and nose done here and i've never gotten infected, been taught how to properly clean both of the piercings, and was treated with so much respect! I was very picky about my eyebrow placement and the piercer who did it was so sweet and patient with me. I love how their prices also include the jewelry so I don't get any sneaky ad ons at the register. I was looking for a place to get my upper lobe piercing done and I kept seeing rave reviews for Big Time and specifically Froggy. I called yesterday to find out if I needed an appointment and they said I just needed to call the day I come in to get on a first come first serve list. I got there today maybe an hour and half after they opened and they had a waitlist of about four people. Luckily for me, everyone else in front of me left so I only had to wait for 5 minutes. Froggy came out to my car and asked exactly what I wanted and led me in. They have you provide ID and sign a release. We went back and he cleaned the ears, checked the alignment and let me see before he pierced it. Quick and painless. He gave me aftercare instructions and his card in case I had questions. For both ears and jewelry, it was $50. I definitely would recommend anyone to come here for piercing needs. He was very nice and chill. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience! I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment and to ensure they could do the double ear piercing I wanted. Froggy responded he pierces anything and to just come in. I arrived a little after 5 on a Friday to a full waiting room. I grabbed my kindle from my car, ready to settle in. Once froggy returned from a well deserved break everything went super quickly. Even with 3 people in front of me I was pierced and out the door well before 6. The piercing process was nearly painless and froggy was fantastic to talk to. He made sure to tell me care instructions and gave me his card with instructions to call if I have any questions. Great place, will totally go in the future. I went with a friend, did a walk in after calling ahead, and asked for my other nostril done and my eyebrow, and they got nipples and nostril. Froggy got us in and out in 30 minutes, was very kind, respectful, and professional. We'd heard some stories about other piercers being questionable during nipple piercings, but he was really good about it. He was very thorough about marking all the piercings, and encouraged us to take our time and be picky. This was my first time here. I went in for a piercing and the staff was very friendly and straightforward. The actual piercing time was approximately 10 minutes if that. I was provided with wound care instruction and was provided with the piercers personal card, just in case I had any additional questions or concerns. I went in this past Friday to get my nipples pierced, I called beforehand to make sure I could come in and whoever was on the phone was helpful in giving me all the necessary information I needed due to COVID. So basically you get there, you call, they write down your name and will come out to get you when they're ready for you. So I get there and do just that and Froggy (the piercer) came out and introduced himself, he let me know about how long it would be until he could help me due to another customer and then not even 10 minutes later I got to go inside. They're only letting one person in at a time, they have a bucket for clean pens and dirty pens so everything has been sanitized before anyone else touches it and they have hand sanitizer available there as well. I naturally was a little nervous but Froggy was so nice about walking me through the process and answering any questions I had. The piercing itself took maybe 5 minutes, he was super quick and they look SO great. I don't think there's anything this place could be doing to be any better than they are right now.
