I am rating this strictly on the piercing. He was awesome, no pain aftercare instructions were perfect. I was really satisfied and would come here for another piercing in a second. On a side note the tattoo artist should be careful of the types of tattoos they are mocking because the person in the waiting area could possibly have that type of art of their body. While I was there there was one artist that was mocking anchors on women (to her credit the clients did start the conversation). There I sit with a big old anchor tattoo. Made it uncomfortable for me with the "typical white girl tattoo". So I would come here again for a piercing but not for a tattoo. The kid got her ears pierced. We came in on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment. I asked if they could rush us through before she changed her mind. Super accommodating and quick. Ten minutes later, she's done getting her ears pierced. Chris is amazing, so good with kids. He had her instantly at ease. read more

got a few small tattoos and were pretty nervous about them. Tim did not make this experience worth while for me. He made me feel stupid for the simple designs I wanted and did not show me any respect. I felt rushed when I was describing my designs to him. To me, tattoos are very important because they are forever there, but to him, it seemed as if it was just another client. I felt like I had to convince him how important this was to get right for me. I don't know if it was because of my age or because I was a women, but I will not be going back there! Free Hand body art and piercing is definitely the best tattoo studio I've ever been at I had my tattoo started by somebody else they didn't share my vision their technique was too rough and lousy bedside manners, thought they were all that, when I went to Free Hand not only did Dave Sloan did what I wanted but saw my vision and did beyond my expectations with his imagination and skill not like the other artist from the other studio had lack thereof, the studio previously said my mountain couldn't be done because it wouldn't look right Dave was not only is more professional and gifted than the other studios I was having work done at but his room is decked out with awards and very clean, Dave was very gentle and got a ton of work done in the time frame without compromising the integrity of the tattoo ,also had the newest tattoo guns and equipment, I am so happy with Free Hand studio I definitely will be returning to get my other tattoos done read more
