All of my favorites are sold here, which makes it so convenient. Service (4/5). The person handing out samples of delicious liquors was so fun, charming and informative. I loved one of the items I sampled and had to buy some on the way out of the store. He even got me to try a new brand of vodka with his recommendation. However, the lady at the check out could have been more friendly.

Every employee was SUPER informative of their products and helped us with every single question we had. Yes I know sometimes an employee is just trying to make a sale but you know what they helped us get what we were looking for and steered us in the right direction with the discounts and deals. The sales people at Byerly's have been extremely helpful - giving me perspective about how much to spend. Honestly I was torn and their insights were really helpful. You just can't help feeling guilty that you can't splurge for good wine but when it's 200 people you start to be a bit more careful about budget. Byerly's Wine & Spirits staff have also been extremely helpful letting me know when their wine sales will take place so that I can buy their 2 for 1 specials. Decided on a Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc that normally costs around $20/bottle, but bought it at their 2 for 1 so got each bottle for around $10. It's a great white that has wonderful citrus flavors. Now I'll go back and check for a red wine. It feels a bit odd to be giving all this detail. Oh well, as long as it helps others trying to figure out where to find good deals for a big feast.

The prepared food is what gets me here. Everything is so good! It can be pricey but a really good meal if you are in a hurry. Easy to grab and go. I paid $11.99 for the bottle which I thought was just the right price. I then ventured over to the wine section and picked up a bottle of good ol' Yellow Tail chardonnay, on sale for $5.99... He said those were those options when people ask for travelers. Meaning people looking for smaller bottles. I clarified: no this is Travellers brand whiskey in collaboration w Chris Stapleton. He said they did not and I should try MGM or Total Wine. He said there was "a MGM on Robert, Back down 7th about 12 or 13 minutes away." I got a chuckle at how oddly specific he was.
