She knows the business inside and out and all installation techniques. Lauren took care of my house and my son's house, answering my and my son's numerous questions in person. I asked ALL of the right questions during the call except "are you guys scamming liars these days" ... but I digress. I asked for an estimate, reminded her our 5 MANUAL roll down shutters were on the SECOND STORY etc etc. Robin quoted me "between $200-$300 unless we find a repair needed" I don't love to spend a couple hundred dollars this way, but the shutters are important and because I KNOW we maintain them impeccably, I wasn't expecting any surprises. Day of, the fact the team showed 3 hours late turned into the least of the crap. Guys were there for about an hour and 45 minutes, shared that our shutters were in great shape & just needed a clean/lube. Made sense, and all things considered, worth $200-$300 dollars. Imagine my surprise when they dropped an $800 bill on us. Not a typo friends ... 8 HUNDRED DOLLARS ($780 but who cares, close enough!!!) Of course, office closes at 2PM EVERYDAY so we had to pay it and take it up with Robin in the AM ... which of course I did. As you might imagine, she had zero interest in how upset I was. Made 800 excuses and after I raised my voice at her complete BULLSH*T attitude/responses including "well this, well that, well second story, well materials, well insurance" ... she hung up on me. These clowns charged us for lube and cleaning product, extension ladders and the use of them & there was a miscellaneous trip out TO US, charge .... All of that got us to the $800, which made perfectly good sense to Robin ON THAT DAY. Totally escaped her when she was giving me a QUOTE of $200-$300. I was 100% WILLING to pay them $500 for the service we received. DOUBLE the quote, but still a fair compromise. Nope, no way. She Relooked at the invoice we were sent and conceded the team charged us for the use of the WRONG extension ladders and refunded us $150, but its just not good enough. They WAY OVERCHARGED US for the use of things one could REASONABLY assume might be included in a quote for SERVICE of SECOND STORY manual shutters and they feel absolutely great about doing it. Scamming liars. If you agree to do business with this group, just know whatever "quote" Robin gives you is the hook to get their teams on your property/engaging in service and all bets are off once they finish. There is NO TELLING what you'll actually end up paying for with this group. DO NOT RECOMMEND -8/10.

East coast shutters service has been the poorest service experience in all my years in Florida if this had a zero star rating I would have used it. Space Coast Storm Shutters installed Bertha Accordion Shutters on all openings to include our doors and two Bay Windows. Their workmanship is exceptional especially on our two bay windows and they patiently went over the operation and periodic preventative maintenance of the shutters. Before selecting a contractor we got three bids and did a due diligence check on them all. Space Coast Storm Shutters passed with flying colors and are licensed and insured. We also visited three past jobs they completed and found all to be done in an excellent manner. In addition, their pricing is very competitive with the others. Finally, we just had a wind mitigation completed and received full credit which should lower our insurance premium quite a bit. Bottom line: We couldn't be more please with their excellent work and two of our neighbors seeing the job they did hired them to do their homes as well.

All Guard Storm Shutters just completed a fairly major Bertha HV perimeter accordion hurricane…read moreshutter installation on the front and rear balconies of my beachside condo. It was terrific from the buying experience and field measuring, all the way up to the multi-day installation! All Guard says what they'll do, and does what they say (somewhat rare these days). The Installational Department was very good at keeping me updated regarding the installation. I had a "cannot miss" hard deadline to get the shutters installed and they assured me it would be done - and sure encough it was! (I'm not gonna lie, at times I was skeptical, lol!) My install team, James and Adrian, were repectful, professional, careful and detail-orientated. It's hard for anybody to want or expect anything more. In short, they really did a great job! When the project was complete, they left my balcony clean and damage-free. In summary, I received a superior shutter system (Bertha HV), for less overall cost, a much better warranty, and a level of installation craftmanship that the other competing shutter company we investigated could provide - in fact, the competing company offered a lower quality product with half the warranty and was significantly more expensive than All Guard. I enjoyed a really positive experience with All Guard. I encourage you to give them serious consideration if you need new or replacement hurricane shutters. I bet you have a similar experiece.
