I went in because my power blinds were broken. Jordan got the blinds and fixed all of them. If that was it I would have stopped here. During the fix she gave me instructions to set the blinds correctly when I got home. She even returned the blinds to my car for me! Terrible company, I have been complaining about the power shades they installed that no longer work right, remote does not work correctly, press for shade one to go up and shade two goes down, replaced battery in remote but did not help, I have been calling these people for over two years about shades not working right and was given directions on how to set them up all over, problem was they gave me directions for wrong shades, went back and got correct directions but they still do not work right, I just left the store today 5/7/24 to complain and was told and I quote " you have the wrong remote " ? HUH ? well that is the remote you sold me, then she "Jordan" told a whopper of a lie, she said they came out and put new motors in the shades and that they have documentation of it, No one from that store ever came out and replaced the motors that is a lie to cover their a--es. when I asked why they could not send someone to my house to see the problem she told me "We cannot run around and waste time to everyone who has a problem only find out it is something simple!! do you believe it ? then she said she does not have the people to do this They do not care about you after they install and get paid, and they are very belligerent when you try to voice your complaint constantly interrupting, Take it from me stay away from this company, they are not customer friendly. I love this business and the people! They are so wonderful to work with - super knowledgeable on products. They helped me with the selections of needed window treatments and I couldn't be happier! I worked with them a couple of years ago and purchased plantation shutters, vertical blinds and the most beautiful roll-down shade for my kitchen. I get so many compliments on it. Fast forward a couple of years... I recently called them as I had a problem with a couple of vertical blinds that had come down (user error!). They came out and looked at it. Said to my great relief that I didn't need to replace the whole treatment. I could just use a bracket (?) to clip to the blinds and the hook. They gave me the brackets free of charge. We ordered a custom oversized blind from this company in December of 2012. It cost around $500 and the cord (which was already upgraded to handle its size) was broken within two years. When we called to have it repaired, we were told it would cost around $300 for pick-up and delivery and to send back to manufacturer and that this is a potential problem for larger blinds of that type, which no one told us upon sale. It was then found to have a manufacturer defect and we were sent a new blind, which is great, BUT we were still expected to cover the pickup and the blind was sent with hardware unattached for us reinstall ourselves. The personal were great during the sales process but very frustrating to deal with once there was an issue. To be fair, we did also order plantation shutters for the front of our house which have worked out great. read more

I am in love with our plantation shutters! We ordered them 5 weeks ago and the installers just left. We were promised to install before Memorial Day and this company delivered. What was key to us in deciding to use this company: locally owned and US products and a short time line. We got bids from 3 companies and all were within $500 but the time line and lead time was key in our decision. One company had a 10 week lead time! This US product was also manufactured in Melbourne. I like the idea of supporting local businesses. Installers arrived at 1:30 PM and were gone by 4:30 PM. They were neat and tidy and polite, too. We had the Blind Spot install plantation shutters on six windows and they came out great. Our windows are not standard size so we have never been able to use off the shelf blinds. They came out and measured everything carefully and the shutters fit perfectly. My next door neighbor had shutters installed before us and commented that ours look better then hers. We are remodeling our kitchen now, so we are going to have them come back to do bamboo blinds in that room. read more

Contacted the Blind Spot as the original installer of blinds in our home, they appeared to be of high quality so we wanted to put them in another 2 rooms. The sales lady came to our home (late for her appointment) took measurements and was instructed that we wanted the same style as was installed in the other rooms. She had my wife sign and contract took a deposit and left. When the blinds were being installed i advised the installer that the new blinds were not the same style as the existing blinds and immediately called the store to advise them. The installer did not present an invoice for payment or ask for payment as he could immediately see that the new blinds opened the wrong way. Upon speaking with the store they said i would have to take it up with the salesperson. In a telephone conversation with the sales lady i was told that the new blinds were what my wife had signed for and they would not fix their mistake and would take whatever measures were required next. I immediately called the store and left a message to advise them of my very unsatisfactory call with the sales lady. NO RESPONSE On january 9th i sent an email to the store expressing concerns with respect to the rude service and incorrect product that had been installed, we got NO RESPONSE. On march 1 i followed up with an email to inquire as to when we might expect the courtesy of a reply and the blinds fixed, NO REPLY On March 11 WE RECEIVED A LAWYERS LETTER DEMANDING PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE! WHAT GREAT SERVICE!!!! We have paid the balance and want to put this sour experience behind us. But in trying to help out a small local retailer we got BLIND SIDED, avoid this merchant! read more
