I live in the Detroit, Metro area. Corey came all the way down here from Port Huron to talk to me about what I wanted. He was so accomdating and offered so many wonderful suggestions. I scheduled him 1 year in advance. He then took my deposit money and sent a link to his website to make payments over the next year and to pick my music. He also has a form filled with questions so your receiption is on track and smooth. The day of my Wedding it rained and we had to call all the vendors & people to switch everything to the hall we rented for the receitopn. He was so accomdating and pleasant to work with. At the receitpion he was awesome. He was a great announcer when there was a toast, the Bride and Groom dance, the Daddy/Daughter dance. He played all the right songs we requested and my guest danced the night away. At the end of the night the last song he asked the Bride and Groom to come to the dance floor. He then asked all the guest to make a big circle around us. He played the song, "I had the time of my life". He kept having the circle of guest, come toward the middle of the dance floor and give us a group hug. I loved it!!!! We also had a photo booth and props. The guest got a copy and then the second copy was put in a book and given to my husband and I. Nothing but class from this company!!! The people in the office are very nice and helpful through the process of choosing your professionals for your wedding day, making payments, pre-wedding planning, post-wedding music selections... they were great on everything! We hired 2 wedding photgraphers and a videographer. They arrived at the location for pre-wedding pictures on time (actually they were early). They gave us very good direction during the photo/video session. In the house we were getting ready they even moved stuff around to make sure we would have great pictures. On the phone conversation with Ilze, our main photographer, I explained to her the big problem I have about having my eyes closed in most pictures. She listened and made sure to check that she had good shots with my eyes open. She was also very efficient through formal family and romantic pictures to make sure we could have the pictures done within our short time frame ( a bit over 1 hour). She was very friendly and the pictures turned out amazing!! Tracy, our second photographer, also did an amazing job! She took great shots of the guys before the cerimony. I also loved how well she captured the details of the decoration in the reception venue.. the centerpieces, the guest book, the cake, the gift table... all the details we spend so much time planning but we barely get to enjoy during the wedding and now we can remember them forever through her pictures. Patruck was our videographer, he was also very nice, from the phone conversation till the end of the wedding. We still didn't receive our wedding video, but i am 100% sure it will be amazing just like everything that Mike Staff have done.

Michigan Event Services did an excellent job providing DJ and photo booth services to our wedding…read moreheld in June, 2016. They were particularly good value, and performed in line with our expectations. That said, I'm deducting one star here for the photo booth. Although they set it up properly, and it functioned as expected, the attendant that we were told would be ushering people through the process was not present for most of the night. He spent most of the night talking with the DJ at the DJ table. Some of our guests were a little hesitant to use the photo booth, and his presence would've been appreciated to make our guests feel welcome.

But first he denied his boss telling him. Or his boss was lying. His boss did travel to bring it, and thought he bring blackjack to smooth over the deal, but forgot cards. 3. He played the same songs over and over. Nothing different from what we requested. Lame-O. Very disappointing. From the reviews posted on the website, I was hoping for something more.

He was able to change things on the fly with us which was very nice as we weren't able to have the meeting before the wedding. We had a bit of trouble with communication (which was some added stress) before the wedding but Charlie came through for us and did a great job!
