A sign taped to the door at Sun Logic mentioned goggles starting at $40, so we headed inside. The vibe in the store was great--solid, bassy soundtrack playing and a very helpful staff. They were patient enough to let the twins try on multiple pairs without complaint. We eventually settled on some Bolles. Naturally, I bought two pairs, because with twins, "fairness" is the law of the land. Since it was my birthday weekend, I asked if they had any recommendations for goggles that fit over prescription glasses. My usual struggle is choosing between no goggles (watery eyes) or wearing goggles and being unable to read my phone. They steered me toward an excellent pair of Anon goggles with snap-in lenses. They came with both blacked-out and orange shades, plus a feature I've come to love: a magnetic snap-on face mask. Did they upsell me? Yes. Do I have any regrets? Absolutely not. The Anons are fantastic--it's incredibly easy to swap lenses based on the light conditions, and the magnetic mask is a game-changer. It stays up for those chilly chairlift rides and snaps down easily once you work up some heat on the downhill. The whole crew looked great on the mountain. If you're in Breck and need gear that actually works for your specific needs, this is the spot.
