In the past I've used both very small private operators and huge print houses to save a few bucks - but it never quite turned out as I had hoped... the small operators didn't really know what they were doing (deadlines missed, technology misunderstood) and the big print houses blew through jobs so fast, they had an error rate of at least 30% (margins, pixelization, scuffed coating). Why bother with a hassle like that?
