They kind of lag but they are also sort of old fashioned mom and pop, so it's somewhat acceptable. I gave a phone order (paying over the phone) and they had my order (with hand written receipt) ready for me. The only downfall is the lack of streamlined efficiency in their overall processes. Long lines while customer service reps seem to have no clue and make small talk with current customer. We got stuff to do, people! read more

It's too bad I'll be taking my business elsewhere, because the paper and ink quality are relatively good. I submitted an order for a scientific poster in person with a flash drive. It was in its original pristine condition. Before I left, gave my phone number (assuming a phone call would be placed if anything went wrong). I came back 2 hours later to find text cut off and formatting all wrong. Manager refused to give me a refund as my document was not in PDF format, which was not asked of me in the first place, but said she would reprint my 3' by 5' poster for $15 on top of the $84 I had already paid . Begrudgingly, I agreed. Next time, I am going elsewhere. read more

I enlisted the help of Alpha Graphics when planning my wedding. They printed my wedding invitations, inserts, names on envelopes, nearly all my stationary and did a FANTASTIC job! I came to Alphagraphics to inquire about wedding invite printing after two weeks of painful interactions with Anders Printing. Anders had been really slow to respond and thought my project was unprintable. Alphagraphics on the other hand, saw what needed to be done, estimated how much time it would take to make the changes, did it, and had a proof to me the next day. They're extremely efficient and have reasonable prices. They're leaps and bounds above other places in town in terms of customer service. I highly recommend Alphagraphics! read more

I have been continually disappointed with the service at Clean Copy. Their location near PSU is very convenient for me, so I have given them numerous chances and the benefit of the doubt ("perhaps this guy is just having a bad day"), but have continued to be shocked by how unhelpful and defensive multiple employees have been. One guy printed projects for me on a few different occasions. More than once, he was so angry working on my printing job that he audibly cursed and kicked the machine. Totally unprofessional. Another girl, although somewhat nice, was totally unhelpful when their machine was printing incorrectly for me, saying "yeah, guess the machines broken." However, instead of compensating, she still charged me, and refused to print it on one of their machines in back (because of a 24 hour policy, even though the shop was empty), and was totally defensive about the whole situation. If there were an obnoxious employee or two, that's understandable, but I have given them my business for two years now and it's been nothing but the same. I have been forced to continue to give Clean Copy my patronage only because of their convenient location, but from now on I will go out of my way to go somewhere else. Maybe there is a bad manager that has created a hostile work environment, but it's unacceptable. Clean Copy: there is nothing unique about your business, you are not a brand with exceptional products, etc. The only thing that will set you apart is your service, and you are failing on that front. Customer loyalty must be earned. read more
