Oil…read morechange was quick, attendant did not check tire pressure, air filter, or under hood fluids, left oil cap off when shutting hood, luckily hood would not shut and we saw the issue. Paid 69$ for oil change! Exactly hour later oil pressure light came on. I pulled over checked oil on stick, completely empty! I looked under car and found the whole under body was covered in oil! I called the place and they sent out a tech to replace oil,filter and possibly investigate if plug was left out. They determined the oil filter failed! (Yea right). I waited on side of road for hour ! The car was driven without oil, motor has oil on back side that stinks when driving, and not sure if motor has possible damage! I pushed the place to offer me a refund and to clean motor, which they weren't real happy about but they did comply with refund (the next day) I used this place to avoid Walmart because they have terrible history of leaving off caps, sticks, and misc issues with car maintenance! Well this place is no Better! This place is over priced, and the service is minimal! Be aware of what service guy does to your car!!!!

This Walmart Auto Center in Terre Haute saved my day…read more After changing my tires at a Walmart near St Louis (not this one, a different one in Missouri), I noticed that my tire light came on. I drove back to that Walmart, and they checked the tire. It was a few pounds low, and they added air. I asked them if they could figure out why a brand new tire was leaking air. They told me that it wasn't a big deal, and that it was only a few pounds. I told them, that I was driving 800 miles and could not afford a mistake, could they please check it? They told me that if I had another problem, to stop at any Walmart in the country. Well, a couple of hours down the road, and the light came on again. I continued driving, but could feel the car pulling left. I was also pulling a motorcycle trailer. The closest Walmart on my route, was the Terre Haute location. I got there less than an hour before closing. They were very busy. I explained the situation. They lent me a floor jack, so I could unhook my trailer and drive up the car to the doors. They put me in line, and within a short while, checked my tires. It turns out, that the other store had not properly installed my valve stem! The Terre Haute store checked out my tires, and quickly got me back on the road. They went over and above by helping me align the trailer ball, and hook the trailer back up to my car. Excellent job. This is the place you should go for tires, oil, and batteries. Thanks Guys!

They were able to diagnose it correctly and fix for around $200. I came in worried about the transmission so $200 was ok! And they did fix the problem a few months later. Another visit with a different vehicle, asked for an oil change and just confirm there are no problems before we went on a road trip. $100 for that oil change and health check which seemed really high. Bottom line, they seem like solid mechanics. Just be prepared to pay!

They also did not try to upsell me on anything after I said I just wanted a regular oil change! That I really appreciate and the staff was so friendly I will definitely be a regular customer!! I did have a coupon, which made it about 29$, but coupons are not hard to find and if you sign up for the loyalty program you get a 20% off keychain for future oil change.

My only beef is that their coupon system should be dropped for a standard good price that's well-known. You can save money, but they make it too hard, and too stupid, amounting to a game with the customer. This said, with coupon, you pay a reasonable price.
