They have a variety of different strength coffee beans to suit your taste, with unique flavours. They use a drip process, where the beans are ground freshly for each cup, then using their drip method ensures a smooth, lingering, wonderful cup of coffee. On display there are freshly made, salads, wraps, sandwiches, an indulgent array of cakes and hand made chocolates. We found having brunch with coffee was so relaxing, as we comfortable settled upstairs, in their large lounge area. All of us in the group, agreed this was well worth the drive for brunch and will visit this venue again.

Pinnock's has the amazing combination of quaint cottage house with spectacularly modern coffee and food. The coffee here is supplied by Beanberry Coffee a local micro coffee roaster in Woking and specific blends are created for Pinnock's use. Additionally, it's fair to note that this place only serves "drip" or "filter" coffee. They use V60s (for the coffee connoisseur) but a range of Beanberry's blends and single origins, so it makes for a range and variety of coffees to choose from. The food here is also of good note. We had a sausage roll, and a sausage baguette, both were not greasy nor overly salty as some of these usually go. The proprietors are friendly, and the staff attentive. Sit upstairs for a wonderfully cosy living room feel and an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. Downstairs, the seating is more formal and cafe like. Congrats on their first year alive, and to many more years of good coffee in Surrey please.

It's a bit difficult to find upstairs but it's well appointed and the view of the castle is pretty legit. We tried a couple of apps, both of which were good but the fish and chips were dialed in! Extra crispy chips and nice big piece of fish were complimented by classic mushy peas and a house made tartar sauce. The service was impeccable to top things off. If you are in the area, you should definitely add this to the list of places to try.

Vegetables were minimal and uninspired. The lamb was unseasoned and tough. For a restaurant with The Ivy's name and reputation, this felt rushed, joyless, and deeply underwhelming. No real flavour payoff, and no sign that anyone in the kitchen had any pride in the food they send out. Feels all the more jarring given how beautiful the setting is. This was less "elegant brasserie" and more "supermarket ready-meal with better lighting". I wouldn't return for the roast -- and I wouldn't recommend it.

I selected the Small Farmhouse breakfast which consisted of sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, mushrooms, baked beans and a slice of toast with butter and jam. My husband selected the Farmhouse breakfast which had the same ingredients but twice as much. Of special note are the sausages which were very meaty and that the breakfast was cooked to perfection with none of the grease that can often be present. They also serve a full range of hot drinks so I was able to select a decaf latte. The menu includes some sandwich-type options and there were a few scones etc. for those who don't have our appetites. Service was fast for us. We arrived soon after they opened so only about 4 tables were already filled, so I cannot speak to service speed when they are busy, but they looked to have plenty of staff on duty. Also the filter coffee was an Americano which I am not normally a fan of, it surprised me as it was very nice and obviously made from a good fresh bean and not the ultra high acid, robusto blend you often get. The service was friendly and prompt. Overall a very good experience. A family next to me were concerned about dairy in the roasted tea cakes and the staff made every effort to check to find out. The tea cakes contained milk powder so the family was offered a refund! Good customer service there.

The young boy who brought the teas (I hear this is a family-run business) was trying to very careful not to mix them up. But the funny thing was, he totally mixed the tea up! LOL. We didn't realize until half way through... I thought the House Blend tea tasted so much like Earl Grey. For lunch, we had Ham, Cheese & Chutney Sandwich and Eggs Benedict. They were both tasty, nice portion, and filling. Our friend went with something healthier, and ordered one of their vegan sandwiches. It is nice to have that option if you want or need vegan dish.
