They encourage you learn, and provide folks that volunteer to assist you in basic repairs. I came in with a flat tire, and Tanner (who is an *amazing* volunteer and a whiz with about every tool I've seen used) basically answered every question I could ask, with tool in hand, ready to help. I left with: * Repaired tire * Straightened derailleur * Adjusted brakes * Fixed "shift deck" (not sure if that's the right term) * A _much_ better appreciation and understanding of how to maintain my bike Again, I can't thank these guys enough, and Tanner in particular. It's awesome because they teach you as you go, so next time you might be able to make the repair yourself. All the volunteers are extremely nice and legitimately enjoy helping out. I had written the appointment time down and was preparing to leave. I had already put everything in my car that I was told to bring and was finishing up what I needed to do before heading over. At approximately 11:00, I received a call saying that I had missed my appointment in a very disrespectful and rude manner that completely caught me off guard. Followed by offensive text messages. I tried to explain that my appointment was at 12:00 and felt the way the situation was handled initially made me believe that I had somehow misunderstood the appointment time, until I looked at the time and realized it wasn't even 12:00 yet. That made the situation even more concerning because I was then sent several more rude text and basically told that if I left a review, he would "be waiting for it." He also stated h would reply to my review that I was upset he wouldn't repair my E-bike which was never mentioned. My appointment was to purchase a custom E-bike from him because he was recommended to me. I found that statement threatening and completely inappropriate, and appalling that he was going to lie to discredit my review. I was prepared to keep my appointment and do business with this company. A simple conversation could have cleared up the misunderstanding, but instead I felt disrespected, intimidated, and uncomfortable. As many customers have stated in previous reviews I should have read before calling. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make their own informed decisions. I believe customers should be treated respectfully, even when there is a scheduling misunderstanding. I know he will be " coming for me" in the reviews but I feel like this is something people should know about. No one should be treated this way or made to feel like this for any reason.

I have been to this location 6 times and not once did I leave in a timely manner because of some hassle. They speak without thinking and say some nonsense about how the Co-op works. News flash if you have the membership, the policies are written pretty clearly online so I know when you're speaking nonsense. The new people there don't even bother to ask so done who has been there a while to answer a question they don't know.
