My daughter is about to be a year in this school. We absolutely love this daycare. They do SO MANY activities and the kids love it. My baby comes home everyday excited to tell me something new she is learning. They have cameras and if an insistent happens they will send you the video right away. Also they will send you update pictures all day and it's so nice. Her Spanish has significantly improved. If you're looking for a daycare I would consider this one. read more

Excellent daycare, absolutely recommend especially if you are anxious about your LO going to a daycare. I had so much anxiety about my baby going to daycare at 4 months but after the first week I had no worries dropping my son off at daycare everyday knowing he was in the care of the staff at BCA. The worst part about moving away from San Antonio was having to leave BCA. I planned on my son attending BCA through pre-k. He was always well taken care of and learning. The staff at BCA is extremely hands on, creative and lively when teaching the babies. 10/10 definitely would recommend. They literally take care of the children as if they were their own. read more

I cannot say one bad thing about this school. My daughter has been going for over 18 months now. She started when she was about one, being a English-speaking home I wanted to give my daughter some thing more than just daycare. I met a lady at life Time fitness who had recommended this school. After visiting I enrolled her for a half day after a few months I extended it to a full day as she loved going to school and comes home picking up Spanish words. They keep you updated with lots of photos every hour and let you know what she's eating and what she's doing at the time. The staff has been wonderful and very kind. The owner is always present and knows exactly what's going on with her school. I am planning on keeping my daughter Enrolled all the way until kindergarten. It is worth every penny I have invested in my daughter and it shows with her ever present happiness and knowledge of Spanish as well as potty training and interacting with other kids. She definitely has a head start in life and will be easy to integrate her to an elementary school. Thank you Natalie and Iryma for your great management, as well as Ophelia and all the other staff that help run this amazing facility. The food is exceptional and the hands-on learning they instill in your child is something money can't buy. They also work with your schedule and vacationing so you aren't getting charged while you're not there. read more

My son has been at the daycare for just under a year. We have had a great experience with BCA and are so thankful that we chose to put our son in this daycare. His teachers are wonderful, caring women and I feel blessed that they are watching over my son. We haven't had any problems since coming to BCA. Our only sad point was when the extended hours were removed, but we understood why. We would like for the monthly Parent's Night Out to return though! Sunday will be my son's 1st birthday and they had balloons, a hat, banner and a little cake for him today as well as a little card with pictures of him from the last year. It really made him and us feel special. I highly recommend BCA to any parent looking for a safe, loving environment for their child. read more

Unfortunately I have to write a low scoring review. We brought our 3 year old son Leo to BCA because we are a bilingual multi race family, Mexican culture is very much apart of our lives at home. He was suddenly unenrolled and no place to call home for school Without warning or notice. Leo was originally SO welcomed here, so happy lots of pictures and great great feedback from the school. We donated toys we participated in lunch events and always so complimentary. They do in fact a lot of great events and work for the kids. What changed was when my husband confronted the owner in regards to constantly missing work because of being called almost 2-3 times a week to come get our son For bowl movements. Over the 6 month period our son was here I have documented him coming home with a bottom so red and raw he could barely walk, 4 times I've had to change him myself right after picking him up and MÚLTIPLE OCCASION our son being tackled hit bit and sat on by other kids. We don't complain because we trust his teachers to discipline appropriately and handle 3 year olds as their job permits. Can you imagine receiving phone call after phone call after phone call when you are in a meeting knowing your child is not wanted there? His pull up leaked because it wasn't changed. I have no available sick time at work because I've had to call out so frequently. Towards the end of his enrollment we would only receive negative feedback about Leo's behavior, which has never been a problem before. He's not perfect, he can be a little monster himself but a normal 3 year old. What about the other kids throwing tantrums on the floor? Or kicking Leo? Or tackling Leo? Did they get kicked out as well? I've watched hours of video witnessing all kids in his class doing similar actions. She told us our son was a liability, because he climbed on a table. I know children from 2-10 years old that climb on everything. We didn't understand the problem with this as his teacher disciplined him sat him down and hugged him. Problem solved. What was the ultimate disappointment was the owner told us there was a problem with our child, he was behind in his motor skills. So we listened to her advice and brought the progress report to the school district to have him evaluated for motor skills and speech. Fortunately, the professionals at the school district calmed our fears and told us unfortunately he would not qualify because nothing is wrong with him. They looked at the progress report and reevaluated, he had quite the improved score! They said her report is silly and not an accurate evaluation for his age group. I recommend you do a full tour with the owner directly and listen to your gut instinct, if you choose to enroll your child here. There is a very proud and stubborn owner who makes you feel that she is doing you a favor. We had to find out our son was unerolled over email and message. We talked in person about schedilng a parent teacher conference when I picked our son up earlier this week, I told her I wasn't able to this week I can try with work. She said don't worry it doesn't need to happens right away. Two days later Leo was unenrolled. There are lots of great things, but ultimately horrible and hateful treatment when your son isn't liked. Kids should be kids. There are some good reviews on Yelp, I recommend to also search for other reviews and you will see similar stories. I know multiple people that have had the same issue. Horrible feeling for our son. So innocent. read more

We have been here for over a year and have really appreciated our time here. Most importantly, my wife and I know that our Boy loves it! And we have ABSOLUTELY seen an improvement from our boy due to his interactions in school. Absolute fraud. The owner of this school talked it up to be phenomenal, far from it! My son apparently cried all day, and no one told me, they changed their closure schedule to be closed 14 days a year (we have daycare because we work and need childcare), and for the Dia de Los Muertos holiday, there was a display signifying the holiday with s bottle of FIREBALL WHISKEY on the table. The owner lied to the parents about the setup and blew it off. my daughter was enrolled in this school and had mutiple bad experiences. 1. theire customer service was not up to par. 2.office manager makes you feel as if theyre doing YOU a favor. 3.nutrition is poor. They serve food according to their nutritionist. 4.teachers are not certified. 5.overall for the price you pay, you are not getting the service one would expect. As a first time mother , putting my 2 month old son (now 3.5 months) in daycare was a last minute decision and also made me very nervous. I stumbled across BCA Hardy Oak location by chance they had one spot left at the time. Thank goodness! Because I had to return to work the following Monday. Well this so happens to also be the daycare my cousin always raves about that her 6 year old son loves so much. Honestly, This was the best decision I made. My husband and I can check in on our son throughout the day with their live cameras on our smart phone, and it's evident that the teachers love and care for our son Jordan. We drive about 2 hours each day drop off and pick up for the security cameras as well as the affection that they show. This is a great daycare, and I am so glad that my son is well taken care of. They send out emails when a child in the class is sick , or to let you know of anything that has occurred during the day w your child. read more

Our family loves BCA and the family-like atmosphere of genuine care! In fact, all of the parent friends we know there truly appreciate BCA. My daughter is quite spirited, so I was originally concerned about her readiness for Kinder, however, after going to BCA for only 5 months, she was beyond ready emotionally and academically. Now she loves Dual Kinder, however, she does occasionally say how much she misses Ms Itzel and Ms Monica!! Our son is now also having a great experience going part time; My Mom and I both enjoy being able to watch him throughout the day from their video system. He has never attended school nor daycare, so I did not know what to expect, but the transition has been fabulous. The pics and updates their wonderful teachers send are always full of smiles. Plus he's already counting over ten numbers more than he knew before going just a couple of weeks ago! Our son started here a month ago after a not-so-great experience at another daycare, and he is absolutely thriving! He is two, and his vocabulary here (English and Spanish) has exploded just since starting. He came home last week counting to ten in Spanish, and sings songs he learned there all the time. He's actually excited to get ready for school in the morning, and I think the routines they have there are the perfect fit for him. It's also great to have the option to see pictures and updates of your kids throughout the day on an app they offer. read more

Our son was enrolled here in 2014. We were very pleased. I moved out of state for work (short-term) and enrolled him in a couple of different daycares while away...i now realize how good BCA was. I have since moved back (two months ago) and my son is back (at BCA's summer program) to a clean daycare with an honest curriculum and great teachers! Natalie and staff have always been there if we had a question or needed assistance. I could go on about this school and would recommend without hesitation. Great staff! Always welcomed when i come through the door. Sent both my kiddos here and my youngest is still enrolled. Although I never saw or heard of any reference about a christian affiliation when we first enrolled, there's a weekly Bible lesson. Also without knowing, there been a couple occasions where they've brought in a preacher to talk to the kids like Easter for instance. I think this should be CLEARLY advertised and i'd rather that my kiddos be exposed to multiple faiths than a single one if any. read more

To say we love this school is an understatement. During one of the most challenging times our family has ever been through with life threatening medical issues, job changes, etc. etc. We put everything on the table as being subject to change EXCEPT our son's school. He is so happy and blossoming and learning to speak perfect Spanish. He loves his teachers and it is so clear that they love him. He has been with BCA since he was 8 weeks old and is now two and half. Our family overseas is delighted to be able to communicate with our son and cannot believe how well he is learning Spanish. I am a very proud mom! Thanks to this school he is way ahead of many of his peers with counting, letters, etc. but most importantly...I know he is loved and so happy to go to school every day. read more

My 2 kids went to BCA for a year and unfortunately it was a very bad experience. The main reason why we decided to enroll our kids in BCA was because of their Spanish curriculum but also because we thought our kids were going to be in a loving and trustworthy environment. The first thing that we noticed was that the teachers were not having enough time to spend doing learning activities with the kids and I think one of the reasons was because their teacher/student ratio was at max. My kids were only bringing home scribbles or a few drawings and not very often. The daycare we moved them to after BCA sends us every 3 weeks or so a folder with all the work that our kids have done and when we go through it with our kids, they are able to explain what they did which tells us that they are really learning what they need to get ready for elementary school. Unfortunately, my kids learned very little at BCA and I strongly regret not removing them from BCA sooner. While at BCA our son had a situation with another kid that we as parents considered alarming but we were never informed by BCA and found out through other parents. We were very disappointed with the way BCA handled it because we thought that communication with the parents was critical to ensure the issue was addressed in the best way possible. I decided to have a conversation with the owner to understand the details of what my son experienced and the owner got upset at the fact that we found out about it instead of focusing on explaining what happened and discussing how we could work together to prevent similar situations in the future. She said that our son was the victim and it was not necessary to let us know plus got very defensive when I explained the reasons of my concern. I was shocked! In other daycares parents are informed of things such as being accidentally hit or being bit and what my son experienced was bigger than that. BCA did not keep their promises when they got us to enroll our kids as their service was never at the level they promote it. They made changes to the calendar in less than a year and added a significant amount of holidays which for working parents it represents a big issue. The calendar was something that we took into consideration when deciding on a daycare so to us the calendar change was very unreasonable. I also want to point out that the person at the front desk was totally unfriendly not promoting a welcoming environment when parents/kids arrive at the school. She pressed the button to unlock the door whenever parents arrive but never was courteous enough to even say Good Morning or Good Afternoon or a simple Hi. I was afraid of changing my kids to another daycare because stability is a priority for us but I'm happy to say that we found a great daycare where my kids are learning a lot (including Spanish) and are loved, and where parents can have open communication with management when needed and constructive feedback is not taken personal. I would never recommend BCA and hope other parents don't have the same experience we did. read more

We loved BCA!! My daughter and son both went here for 2015-2016. We moved from San Antonio and wish we could have the school here! My daughter LOVED Ms. Lilly the pre K teacher. She was so sweet and caring and made my girl feel welcome. My son was in the 2-3 year old room and loved his teacher, Ms. Flor. She is very caring and patient and you can tell she loves her students. Management works hard with medical professionals schedules. We would have continued with BCA if we hadn't moved! read more
