My 3-year-old attended this daycare for almost 3 months and in this time his behavior took a turn…read morefor the worst. First, we were excited about the engagement we had hoped my son would have, he came home with worksheets to practice writing and tracing, we loved that but unfortunately the screen time allowed in this facility is excessive and was creating issues with his sleep habits and ultimately his behavior at home was becoming challenging we believe to be due to the excessive screen time. During the tour we were told the screen in the room was for educational videos and for music to be played for the children to dance to and sing along with. The daily report provided that my son was watching Jack Hartman for teaching American sign language, but the exposure to screen time far exceeded this. My son was coming home stating he had watched cartoons like Cocomelon, chu chu tv, etc. During Halloween my son started to fear jack o lanterns from something they showed the kids, he was even shown the Michael Jackson thriller video which the teacher claims was an "accident" ... after talking to the teacher to figure out what had happened, it became clear that they are just letting YouTube play the next videos without supervising what is being shown. We met with the Asst Director Ms Ashley and the Owner, Dr. Koshi (spelling?) and unfortunately our concerns fell on deaf ears. I wanted to know what the process was for picking these videos that are not educational and why parents aren't being told what their kids are watching and why their daily report is providing false information on what my child is being exposed to. We even reported that on several occasions when picking up our son as the teachers were bringing the kids in from outside that the teachers were asking the kids what they wanted to watch, and kids were asking for spiderman and frozen etc. On several occasions the screen was moved to a corner so that the parents couldn't see what was being shown. During thanksgiving they showed the movie the Wild robot without letting parents know this was going to be shown, the film is rated PG. They also showed them how the Grinch stole Christmas the Jim Carrey film which is also PG. I was never consulted or made aware about what my son would be watching or had watched. The use of the screens and the way the administration handled our concerns is very shady, for the price you pay for childcare and with their claims to be an educational facility to prepare children for school I do not trust that they are a good option for families that care about the quality of care and learning.

We have pulled our son out of this daycare because of a safety issue concerning management. To…read morepreface, the teachers were wonderful. Mrs Nino and Mrs Sam, y'all are incredible. But the management was negligent to the point that we no longer felt comfortable leaving our son there for even one more day. We have pulled our son from this program after learning that our son (13 months old) was fed popcorn as a snack. POPCORN! (For those unaware, just google top choking hazards for toddlers) And when I asked the manager, who sets the menus and buys the food, he told me he was not even aware this was a choking hazard. He was so incredibly dismissive and rude about this legitimate safety concern.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was very welcoming and Maria was so kind and helpful. She was the instructor for my daughter's class/age group and I decided to enroll my daughter for a whole month of classes. The class is a mix of some gymnastics/tumbling and singing +other activities. The gym itself is clean and they have a seating area for family members can sit and view, since only parents are allowed inside the class/gym area. The additional room is also a playroom for kids and parents while waiting for class or after class playtime. Highly recommend this gym. Reasonably priced and there's plenty of free parking.

Coach Justin called ahead to go over setup details and music, which really helped ease our minds since there was a party before ours. Even with only 30 minutes to set up, the room was perfectly decorated when we arrived -- all we had to do was add our balloons! Coach Makana, Coach Evan, Coach Miya, and Coach Brooke were an absolute dream team setting up the party. They made sure everything looked great and went smoothly. Our birthday girl even got a special moment to take a photo on her "birthday throne," which she loved! We received so many compliments from our guests and couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Thank you, Little Gym Stone Oak, for making her 4th birthday unforgettable and always providing such wonderful service and special thank to Coach Makana and Coach Evan for the best birthday ever.

If you in are search of finding an actual "horse whisperer," from which to learn, grow and gain…read moreconfidence, you will find her at "Unbridled Spirit" in Stephanie McGlothlin. I came to Unbridled Spirit originally, because they offer learning on many different types of horses and I love "gaited" horses, which are seldom offered for lessons. With Stephanie McGlothlin as my instructor, I actually learned not just to be a more confident and competent rider, but how to actually "build a relationship" with my horse! What an incredible joy it is to build that bond! The confidence and skills that I have gained in a short time have taken place through lessons, but also, through the targeted clinics and workshops that focus on certain skills and approaches, such as "Liberty." I cannot recommend Stephanie and Unbridled Spirit more highly!

She takes time to explain everything even if you didn't understand the first or second time. Her passion for horseback riding is contagious. She offers tools to learn and implement when working with your horse rather than bandaids for crazy horse behavior. Her horses are patient and kind and I can't wait to bring back my whole family. I could keep going but don't take it from me. Go and see for yourself what you are lacking in your horse connection! You'll be glad you did.

For our family we enrolled our 12 year old in two summer camps - codeing drones and game development. This place offers both full and half days. For me the hidden gem of Code Ninjas was the drop in program where our kiddo started as a "White Belt" where he started using the scratch system (developed by MIT) to learn a coding framework and basic coding strategies. The thing I love is the progressive belt system where, after finishing the white belt, he starts learning Javascript. The site is pristine clean and the staff of "Sensei" is amazingly helpful, in terms of both being so smart on the programs and the coding, but also helping to keep our kiddo on task . The costs are reasonable and my opinion is there is an amazing return on this investment in terms of giving our kiddo a head start into the marketable skills of coding. One quick aside, this location has an adult workout facility, almost next door. With the continuous camera coverage inside of Code Ninjas, I'm not worried at, all about grabbing a quick workout while our little one gets his code on!
