We worked with Bill for our wedding this June. He took the time to communicate and listen to our preferences and took detailed notes. We particular wanted big band jazz for during our dinner time and I love how he picked out the perfect songs to create a romantic and classic ambience. For my entrance (the bride), I was a little sad that not too many people saw me come out at first since I wanted my song to play longer. I wish that I knew that would happen beforehand so that I could tell Bill to announce my entrance somehow. The sequence of entrances also was changed last minute by family members, I felt flustered coming out but it wasn't anything that Bill could have controlled or influenced. Overall our guests had a good time and a lot of dancing were had. I would recommend Bill for any couple shopping for DJs. Bill is dependable and very experienced. read more

UPDATE!!!! I just found out that the DJ was caught stealing from the wedding!!!! A close family friend as well as the brides father caught him putting centerpieces and decor into his car without permission. When told that he needed to return them, his response was "I'm getting a divorce, I need it more than they do." The bride and groom have since sent him an email stating that he needs to return everything that was taken or they will be filing a police report! I can't believe this P.O.S. Please for the love of god, stay away from booking this DJ. I feel so bad for the bride and groom!! read more

Bill did our reception last weekend, and it was a phenomenal job. We were definitely particular about some of the things we wanted to do--and not do. Bill met with us prior to the event, we went through all of those requests, and everything rolled off perfectly the night of the event. Bill did a great job of managing the party. During cocktails and dinner, the music was great and appropriate. As dinner was finishing, he started getting the party going, rolling into songs to get the kids up and dancing, before the first dance and father/daughter dances. The best wedding DJ! Our ceremony and reception were at two locations and Bill set up at both locations with ample time. He was amazing at the ceremony where he was forced to use battery powered equipment since the park did not have outlets. Everything was perfectly on queue. At the reception, Bill was an amazing DJ and, equally important, he was an amazing MC! He has so much experience that he knows how a great wedding should flow and executes flawlessly. Bill has the capability to record a voice-over, which was used for the father/daughter dance. Our family, friends and especially the father of the bride were touched by the added sentaments recorded at the beginning of the chosen song. No one, including ourselves, had experienced anything like that before. We chose the types of music we wanted played during dinner and while dancing. We hired This "DJ" for an event - however he forgot he was "hired entertainment" and NOT a guest! Half the time he was stuffing his face with food and alcohol, taking awkward selfies - he was obnoxious and many of our guests commented on his inappropriate and odd behavior! Did a perfect job at our wedding. Professional, fun, and thoughtful. He is great about putting those little thoughtful touches that made our reception unique, and even worked secretly with our sisters to make a surprise musical toast. Met with us twice before the wedding to hash out details. He KNEW how to get everyone dancing, and still managed to work in some of our more obscure song requests. At our request, he made the entire playlist family friendly (we had grandma's and 5 year olds at this wedding) and he still had plenty of music to pack the dance floor the whole event. Bill was a great choice for our wedding. We're an older couple, my husband is a music lover and we had a lot of concerns about getting just the right DJ. We checked out quite a few DJs before we decided on Bill. And, we're glad that we did. His website allowed us to choose music that we and our guests would enjoy dancing to. Bill paid attention to and augmented our choices with ones that he knew would get and keep people on the dance floor all night. I told him that he could play music that the younger crowd wanted as well. But, from the videos, apparently they were very happy dancing to "our" music. Bill kept the party going the entire night. Best DJ Ever!! Bill was excellent to work with. We had the chance to sit down with him a few times to review the set up of the ceremony and reception. He has countless songs to choose from. We selected all of our songs for both the ceremony and reception and had the chance to listen to how he would change into each song, it was precise! He set our minister up with a wireless mic and had speakers set up so everyone can hear the entire ceremony. The intro to for the wedding party was a big hit with our guests. The music being played while everyone was eating was at the right volume so you could still hear the music but everyone could still carry on a conversation. He took music requests during the dancing portions. We got a kick out of the fork against the glass piece he had mic'ed up, very clever! The best part of the entire day was the first dance with my dad. Previously in one of our meetings I had the chance to pre-record a special message to my dad that would play during our dance. There was not a dry eye in the place when it started and my voice came through the speakers. He also made my dad a copy so he can listen to it whenever he wants. He creates a username/password for all clients that takes them to a portal where they can add the songs they want and don't want played for their event. He also followed through with this. Every song that "had to be played" was played and every song my husband and I didn't want played...was not heard at all. He also allowed us to make special notes for songs we wanted him to announce during the reception. Everything is specifically catered and individualized for his clients.
