Bill, the owner of the agency is absolutely wonderful. However!!! His staff, especially Gracie is beyond unprofessional and unpleasant. I have not had my vehicle repaired immediately, corporate trying to total my car unnecessarily, and I have been without my vehicle for over three months. I told Gracie I would like to discuss monthly premiums I had to pay with Bill. I never lose my cool nor do I ever swear. Gracie had the audacity to say "You better not talk in the manner that you are talking to me". I asked her what had offended her. She proceeded to say that I was talking to her in a way one should not, if I am asking for help. Huh? We are policy holders. It is THEIR JOB to assist. She continued to talk over me even when I asked to let me finish. She then hung up. This was NOT the first time she could not handle a situation professionally. Horrible agent. quotes wrong and then you get the bill that is the begining of your nightmaare. I took them 8 months to get my premium correct Including them threating to cancel my policies, Then finally when I again changed cars. same crap, Bill has been awful to deal with and now stater farm is saying they will not renew in april, the last three months they have continued to raise the premium every month for no reason. Now they have added an extra accident to my record, I had a fender bender the day I started my policy with them in2021, SALLY AND BILL SAID WE CAN TIME THE accident so it falls on the former insurance company, As this was a fender bender that orcured on the 20th of the month and was always on my record, now all ofIng a lot of trouble getting other offers. After 25 years of being a loyal State Farm policy holder I was dropped because my family (3 drivers) had four auto claims in three years. Two of the accidents were not our fault and the total payout was approximately $10,000...far below the premiums paid over the years without any claims. After receiving a form letter from State Farm informing me that our policies would not be renewed, Bill Moriarty tried to make me feel better by explaining that State Farm has the lowest non-renewal rate in the auto insurance industry. Really? That's supposed to make me feel good about the decision? So much for being a Good Neighbor. It turned out to be a good thing since I found another company with lower premiums compared to State Farm (I guess I wasn't such a bad risk after all). During my call to Bill's office to cancel my policies (home, auto, personal property) I was treated with complete indifference. There was no sorry to see you leave or thank you for being loyal over the years...simply you'll get a refund for unused premiums in three weeks. I understand the business of insurance, but I think State Farm's decision is very short sighted and provided very poor customer service. They've lost my future premiums and I will tell my story when given the opportunity. I am no longer a promoter and have become a detractor of State Farm. In the future I will not consider any of State Farm's products when making purchasing decisions. I bought a car through them this week and the terms were exceptional. Lyndsey explained everything accurately and took the application right over the phone. I met her at the office to sign my documents and within 15 minutes I was on the way to the dealer to pick up my car. One of the best lending experiences I've ever had. I am so happy I chose Bill and State Farm when I moved to town a little over a year ago. I have renters and car insurance with them and have only had the best customer service and assistance when needed. I call in my payments monthly and they know who I am when I call. I recently called about getting a quote for my girlfriend and they were extremely helpful with comparing her current coverage and offering other solutions for what we wanted and discussing increased renters insurance.
