Can't comment on their food because we couldn't get past the Horrible service. I've been here twice. First time service was mediocre but only came here for a drink. Today we sat down ready to spend $$$ on dinner and drinks. Two male waiters completely ignored us. I went inside and guy walked away into back room and second guy rolled his eyes. I speak English and German and guy said he would be right out. Instead he came back later and said "English?" My wife said yea and he rolled his eyes and said he would send a waitress over. She came by and we immediate told her what we wanted. Instead she walked away and came back with two menus and threw them on the table. When she walked by again we said we were ready to order and she rolled her eyes and walked away. We got up and left. No euros for you. read more

The food is really good in this Australian pub, the burgers and French toasts are fresh made and very tasty, and even the fish and chips managed to please a British friend, so it must be gooOOood ;) They have a big menu, and even the 'make your burger yourself" option: you just have to cross on a sheet of paper the ingredients you wish to have in your burger and hand over the paper! You can choose the size of your burger, which bread (pita or burger bread), meat (they have kangoroo!! and vegetarian patties too), cheese, sauce or veggies you want in, as well as the side dish (salad, french fries,...). It's nice to be able to choose whatever you want, especially if you are quite picky! but it's quite pricey in comparison to their menu and the cheapest (and therefore smallest) size is really, really small^^ I liked the decoration (so many beer bottles on the walls!) but beware, it's definitely not the place to go to have a relaxed evening with friends! It's full of smoke (welcome in Austria, where people are allowed to smoke inside the restaurants) and very loud because of the TVs and speakers (football game playing on giant screens). We were in Billabong yesterday with bunch of friends and it was really great night, very cool atmosphere, screens with football and rugby game. Bartender/service was really kind and polite which is kind of not usual thing in all restaurants. And finally food we had ordered burger, chicken wings with salad and some snacks, and all of the things were very tasty and spiced well. This definitely place that I recommend to eat and just spend time with friends! read more

First and basic. English speaking, primarily at least, which is a big plus for non-German speakers. I had the bacon-feta cheese salad, which was filling and very tasty (and also not swimming in oil, a welcome surprise since there was bacon in there) and my two friends had some very tasty looking club sandwiches with French fries. The burghers served on the table across looked and smelled savory too. All was ready fast enough and the variety of food and drinks offered is quite satisfying. Prices are reasonable (cheaper than TGI's, for instance, if you've been and can compare). A minus for me was the overwhelming number of television sets in the restaurant, which, no doubt, add to the atmosphere but also to the noise and unease. Overall, very nice place. read more

I come here almost every day for lunch for the past nine years. Sometimes with the wife. They have a burger day, which is Saturday and Wednesday. Burger day is a day where they offer the burgers at a cheaper price (7 euros) Their burgers are Really tasty and the fries look fresh. Their staff are friendly and usually very fast in delivering the orders. Totally recommend this place for the burgers. read more

at this very moment in time i am inside billabong. its some real thug stuff tho. yall gotta keep it reals when coming in here. for the past week i came here about 8 times. a pint is gonna run you around 4:20. not the cheapest but nevertheless still good. the waiter is my main man. he the realest. he name is carl. carl feed me that good old foster juice when i quench with the royal thirst. if you come here you will most likely meet me here cuz i stay here 24/7 365. hit me up. the food here good too. them chicken wangs be mean mayn. they got like 400 sauces too tho. that good stuff cray. however, do not drink the atom bomb sauce. it will make you defecate blood. i always have a nice time here. thanks carl, 'ice cold' sizzy read more

Being from Texas...I've really spent a lot of time looking for a good place in Vienna to have a burger and a beer. While there may be other places in Vienna with decent burgers...none of them come close to the size and price-point as a burger from Billabong. The burgers are BIG and juicy! Wait staff speak English (one server is from California!) and are attentive and helpful. It's also in a nice location and even has tables outside, so you can enjoy great food, beer, and a smoke! Billabong provided the worst service I've ever received in a dining establishment. Our group brought in some Starbucks that we had purchased only moments before we decided to enter this restaurant in hopes of eating a nice lunch with our coffee. Instead, we were immediately told we would have to "throw out" our coffee and order drinks from the restaurant. The waiter went on to suggest several alcoholic drinks, obviously oblivious to the fact that two people in our party are recovering alcoholics. In spite of the addiction issues at hand and under the pressure of the waiter's suggestions, two (non-alcoholic) members of the party decided to order drinks in order to appease the staff so we could simply eat our lunch. Throughout our meal, we were bothered by the staff repeatedly due to the fact that we got off on the wrong foot. While I'm sure this might have been a great experience with different service, we don't recommend coming here. read more
