When your home is damaged it is so stressful. We had no clue what a public insurance adjuster even did, but quickly realized we needed one when our insurance company wouldn't call us back. The owner of the company, David Biller, came out to look at my house over a month ago to represent me for an insurance claim from a flooded basement. After the day he came out, I never heard 1 word from him. After calling the office multiple times, emailing him multiple times, there was never any response. The women in the office just gave me the run around telling me that "it's being worked on", yet my insurance was calling me telling me they haven't heard a word from Biller Associates and that they were worried. At this point, I was worried the claim would be closed out. I would never, ever, ever recommend this service to anyone. Please do not waste your time. Just use another service if you can. Contrary to other reviews, I had an excellent experience. I was referred to David Biller and Associates by my lawyer Albert Zullo of Zullo and Jacks LLC Law Offices out of East Haven, who only refers the best. My apartment building suffered from a fire and all the contents of my apartment was ruled a total loss. David came in and basically regulated the situation. He explained to me the process that we had to go through from A-Z. He has a great rapport with many inside insurance adjusters, he was always available for questions and concerns, and was very prompt with getting me the money from the insurance company. Through his experience and knowledge of the business, he was able to get me the max out of my policy and make a highly stressful situation easier to handle. A+ service by him and office! The whole process too many months and Dave was not responsive until I threatened to stop working with them. The ladies in the office are always available but seeing they have to run all decisions and insurance communication with Dave, things fall through the cracks. Filed a claim with my insurance company for ice damming damage on my house, the insurance company wrote out a check for $9,000 dollars. more than 3 rooms were effected by the ice damming damage. $9,000 dollars would not even cover supply costs. We handed this over to Biller Associates Tri-State LLC, they took all info and promised us more money, and working on our behalf to get our home fixed. We forwarded them our check. 4 weeks passed by our house still damaged, no communication from David Biller our so called attorney. Called him once a week for months, all I got was his secretary Donna, she was pleasant, but David and his father always in court. Took him 2 months to come asses the house himself. Promised he would get back to us, a week passed by still nothing, once again I called every week, got nothing but voicemail, left messages every time, even called Donna their secretary to express my anger. Terrible customer service on their part, no resolution, ended up asking insurance company to resend our check and paying for labor out of our own pocket. It seems Mr. Biller either took too much work upon him self that he could not handle or he just does not care about customer service. I cannot believe the terrible service from this so called business. Even after I reclaimed a new check and my information back from their office, I herd nothing back or no questions why I'm done.. This process took over a year and no services on their part performed. I cannot believe this company is still in business with the way they treat their customers. But at least I am able to file a complaint to save the next guy a HUGE hassle. read more
