I have gone to downtown clinic for years but this one is much closer to home so switched today when I needed an appt. They have most of top floor now occupied so very fast and efficient check in and made sure people who needed masks had them. Many new Drs also. I had zero complaints on the service, employees, atmosphere, nothing. Only thing that happened to mention is employees on top floor had a meeting at 8am and I always get there to get in at 07:30. Unfortunately, we had to go to the clinic on our vacation, but I have to say they made it the best experience possible! My wife was in Seattle flying home from business, didn't feel the best so she made am appointment for when she landed and they got her right in. The doctors here are nice and its great they are part of the large mayo clinic . My wife has a rate disorder the doctors in Seattle were at a loss. Dr. Margaret Kosnar is horrible!! I barely ever write reviews, but this lady took the cake! She is really rude, and condescending, and ignores what you have to say. I went to see her for postpartum hormone fluctuations. And she just called me obese, and lazy, and accused me of eating junk food. All of which is the opposite of who I am. So if you just had a baby, avoid this lady like the plague, unless you want to leave in tears.... Like I did. read more

The lady who checked me in was eating chocolate, while asking me questions. It was even on the outside of her mouth. She wiped it off and went back to typing on the keyboard. Ever heard of germs?? The LPN did NOT listen to the symptoms I was describing as she kept asking the same questions. The PA shouldn't even have a license to diagnose anyone. I had told her several times I did NOT have a cough, so she tells me, well your lungs sound normal if your cough get worse come back. What???? read more

Total 4.5 Breakdown: Office ladies = 6! | Wait time = looked like a 1.5, turned out to be a 3 | Doc 4 | Price 5 I visited the same-day clinic at the West Billings Clinic location. Was warned upon check-in that the wait could be 2-3 hrs, but it ended up only being about 1-1.5 hrs. You can make an appt and avoid this prob, but I was visiting town so needed to just do the urgent care thing. The ladies at check-in were soooo friendly! Often the check-in folks at these joints can be described as surly or curt...on a good day. These ladies were totally low stress, enjoyed working with one another and genuinely seemed to get that you were showing up there b/c you didn't feel well and they should be nice. The doc that I got said about what I expected, nothing conclusive or uber helpful ( had generic abdominal problems) but still seemed to take his time considering my symptoms and matching it up to possible issues, ran a few blood tests, explained his thinking, and gave me clear instructions on remedial actions and follow-up if symptoms didn't improve. I appreciated that he seemed busy - I did have to wait a bit once in the exam room and for test results- but he took his time with me and was not rushed during our visit. The look/ feel of the place was a little basic, waiting room had plenty of room, and a few tvs, kinda dorm-room basic furniture, but not sad or sketch like some urgent care places I've been to. For being a urgent care alternative for me, this place was head-and-shoulders above a lot of places I have been. They charged reasonably for their services ($163 pre-insurance for the doc visit, plus labs. Would definitely recommend if you find yourself feeling crummy in Billings, but allow plenty of time to wait (or call ahead to find out wait time if you're flexible on when you can go in). read more

I live in Missoula but specifically planned this trip to Billings to see my internalist. Billings clinic, in my opinion has the best doctors in the state. I have had horror story experiences in Missoula. This works. My doctors here are helping me look for someone closer in Missoula but in the mean time will be assisting me via email. Now I remember why I quit going to Billings clinic. Beyond the continuous screw ups of billing and the clinic trying to screw insurance companies for every dime them can. (And I'm NOT a fan of insurance companies) but repeated claims, denials, refile claims, denials, all because the clinic can't get their paperwork together- and understand they were filing under a CLOSED CONTRACT WITH BCBS. What a joke. I go to make an appointment for an annual physical and blood work- nothing special. I quit going to the clinic because of their crap (apparently in 2013 as I find out today because that's the last records they have) and the soonest they can get an internal medicine or family doctor is AUGUST 27th. Ok BYE BYE. Save yourself some time if you need a new (non specialist) doctor and visit Fuller Family. They work with BCBS and are less than a week out. Worst service I have ever experienced in a health care environment. I had ten (10) phone calls with them in one day mostly because of how unorganized they are. 8 outgoing calls and only 2 incoming ones. I would be on hold for up to 30 minutes, finally get an answer and then get hung up on. I was also transferred to other departments when this would happen, so then had to go through the whole process again. I made an appointment over these 10 phone calls for today at 9:45am. I arrived a little bit early just in case. When I went to get checked in, I was then informed that I needed a confirmation number. I was livid & asked them several times why they couldn't tell me that I needed that when I scheduled the appointment. They told me I could wait for a few hours in the lobby or just go home. I have adult priorities & can't just wait in a lobby on your command because you failed to give me the information I needed. They made it seem like it was my fault for not knowing that I needed a confirmation number for an appointment they created for me. Not to mention that they are booked out for months for the appointment I needed according to them. What a concept. I will never be seen in this facility again. Your primary job is to help people and you fail. read more

I made an appointment with Dr. Brewer a month out. Today, a very unprofessional woman in her office called me to tell me I had to move my appointment to another month later. Well, my health concern at this time can not wait another month. When I explained to Ciera that I didn't want to keep the appointment with Billings Clinic, she could not control her laughter, said ok, and hung up. I understand things happen, but there's no excuse for being so rude to someone over the phone like this. I do not appreciate having to feel like a total idiot when my health is in the situation it is in. read more

I went in for a wellness physical and they charged me extra because I said I had some wrist pain. My doctor's advice was that he once cut himself while on vacation and made a splint to keep the wound from opening. I didn't receive any treatment, prescriptions, band-aids, or gauze. Just an extra $100 on my bill. The billing staff recommended I dispute it with my insurance company, which is obviously just a stupid attempt to shuffle me off somewhere else. It's not the $100 that makes me so mad, it's the principle of the whole thing. read more

My family and I have used Billings Clinic for the last 3 years and have had wonderful service! We had our youngest child delivered here. I was a high risk pregnancy and was very comfortable with my doctor. At first I was concerned since Billings is such a large area, but they made me feel like I was more than just another patient. The staff in the OB department (receptionists included!) were all so friendly and helpful. As well as the staff in the birthing center. At any time I needed help, or questions answered I was always given the best possible solution in a timely manner. We now have a family doctor, and she is amazing and very helpful. I have always been able to get appointments when we need them. Except for my husband, because he has such a busy work schedule and cannot take time off. They offer a wide variety of services, with plenty of locations, and more on the way! Also having the connection with the Mayo clinic makes me feel even more comfortable to know if anything is ever a "mystery" they will be able to find a solution!! read more

Dealing with the administrators and staff at Billings Clinic has been a frustrating experience for me. The short take: hopelessly beuracratic and obtuse "service", not focused on patient needs or wants. My wife requested that I help her schedule the preventative medicine/annual physical exam that is a coverage guarantee under our Obamacare mandated Blue Cross plan. I spent 3 hours (!) on the phone being passed around from department to department while everyone I spoke with either professed ignorance of what this was or said unhelpfully "I can't guarantee the doctor seeing your wife won't use any code (incurring more charges) they feel like when seeing her". We spoke to scheduling, the doctor's nurse, the coding department, the patient relations department, then back to coding, then back to scheduling. Wow, what great "service"(sarcasm intended)! How am I supposed to know that the service we are seeking is paid for under our insurance and what our responsibilities are? What is the clinic up to with this? Is this some sort of way to get to charge more by keeping the patient in the dark? Should I really have to question their honesty and integrity? Would they run up charges secretively? After these 3 hours we finally had to have our insurer's representative get on the line and tell the clinic to just perform the service and quit playing games and to note the parameters of the visit properly ahead of time. What a headache!!! Personally, I wouldn't use this clinic for my own health care needs; they aren't nearly focused enough on providing good customer service. Worse, the undertone is shady.
