Unfortunately, it was the exact opposite, and I should have walked out the moment I stepped inside. The environment was highly unprofessional; loud music was blasting while two staff members lounged in barber chairs right in front of me, playing games on their phones. This is not the atmosphere you expect for a paid service. Worse, the equipment appeared to be low-quality and unhygienic. The battery trimmers kept snagging and pulling at my skin, leaving me with a painful breakout along the entire trim line. The razor felt dull, and I now have a large, infected ingrown hair on the front of my neck. Even the 'hot shave' was a letdown--a thin, overused towel that was warmed in a microwave rather than properly steamed. The service ended with a quick spritz of aftershave instead of a real application. This felt like an amateur operation. Maybe great for a kid but not for adults. I definitely won't be returning.

They made very sure to help me make informed choices as to my shade. My time was spent chatting with some lovely ladies, enjoying a treat handed out by Lucy herself, and relaxing. Amanda did my hair and she was a great conversationalist. She kept me informed every step of the way. I actually had a lot of fun. They stayed open late to finish off my fabulous new look. I never really go in asking for the price because everyone is really cool. This time I walked in and someone I have never seen before charged me 35.00 and she was expecting a tip .
