I haven't been here for years but Bill's was my favorite place to go whenever I visited Amory with my family. My grandfather used to joke that going here required elastic waistband pants so you could have an extra burger or two. It wasn't a joke, honestly; the burgers here are so tasty it's easy to go a little crazy. Are they greasy? Yes, they are -- and that's what makes 'em so good! Their fries and onion rings are top notch as well. Pair them with an old fashioned glass bottle Coke and you have my staple lunch whenever I'm in town. Wow! This place is great! SIMPLE MENU, SIMPLE ESTABLISHMENT. The burgers are excellent, had the homemade chips...delish! I will be back!!!

Amazing service! Amazing food! The small town manner of this place is awesome, and I 100% recommend a bar seat with a glass bottle coke!

This is horrible. The meat tasted old or freezer burnt. I didn't like the fact that the meat was balled up and left out on the edge of the grill were it can be very hot which would prematurely start the meat to cook or dehydrate. They were greasy and gross. The fries were dry and cold. I have never been back there since that day and that was over 7yrs ago. Several of my close friends have had similar experiences and have not been back. We go across the street where the meat is kept in a fridge until you place your order. They don't cook your fries until you order them so that they are steaming hot and nice and tender. read more

We visit Bill's every time we are in town visiting my folks. Love sitting on the stools and chatting it up with the staff. The burgers are cooked fresh to order and depending on where you are sitting, it happens right in front of you. Burgers are on the smaller side so I always go for the double. Passing through Amory MS and decided to try the local burger joint that had been in business for 75 years (must be good right?). Absolutely a must if your in the area - they have hamburgers and cheeseburgers! You order the burgers with - or without.... With comes with mustard and onions and without is plain. I ordered a double cheeseburger "with" and their house fries .... So good I had to order a single "with" to finish off my appetite !
