I checked the tire and added air and noticed extreme wear and tear on the tire . From Destin to Panama City we stopped and called everyone, most not having our low profile 275 35 R18..Pep Boys tried, no go, Goodyear..2 days. So we decided to try and make it to Orlando where there was no hurricane. As we headed back to the highway we spotted 15th st Tire and Auto..lots of used tires. Pulled in and met the nicest group of local owners. They did not have our tire(s) and were concerned we might get caught in the hurricane. The owner called every location he knew of (which I did not know) and found 1 new and 1 (great shape) used. I wasn't aware of the damage on my other back tire. Not only did they find the tires, I payed below what I have at chain dealerships, and we were safely out of reach of the storm. This group made sure people were safely on the road before themselves, I do realize they are in the business of getting people on the road for a price, but they did what others were not willing to take the time to do.

The gentleman from MH called the next morning, said I did not need the repairs, something the other "mechanic chain" had repaired was done improperly. Mad Hatter fixed the issue and charged me all of $40!!!!!! A perfect example of Honesty, integrity, professionalism and proficiency. Then, they saved me another $230 by referring me to another business of the same mindset for something else I needed that was unrelated. I regret ever stepping foot in this establishment. I paid $1600 for a transmission rebuild. 4…read moremonths later, it stopped running in the middle of traffic (I could've been hit). I took it to another, more reputable shop for a diagnostic and they told me the problem was my transmission. I did not inform this shop that I ever had the transmission worked on. A1 offers a 1 year warranty on their services if you get transmission work done so I took it back. They didn't touch my car for 3 weeks and NEVER answered their phone when I called for updates. I had to sneak up on them 3 times to speak to anyone and I waited at the front counter over 15 minutes before anyone ever greeted me each time. After about a month and 5-6 days, I got the car back. 2 months later, the car breaks down at a red light. I take the car to another reputable mechanic shop and of course once again it was the transmission. When I called "Jeff" (the owner, the most rude and inconsiderate professional I've ever encountered) he said (after asking my name so he could look it up) he had no clue who I was, he doesn't remember ever working on (my car model) & if I don't show up with my warranty proof, he won't fix it for free. I tell him I have my paperwork and he looks on his computer again and says he sees all of my information and goes on to describe my car and the dates his crew worked on the car. I have the car towed there at MY expense, and wait 3 weeks before I called because I knew my car wasn't being touched, I was checking (riding by in a different car) periodically and so were my parents. When I called, Jeff told me he had no idea what's wrong with the car. At that point I told him I would have another shop fix it and asked him to have his tow service drop it off at my apartment. He told me no and that I could drive it home because they rebuilt the transmission and it's "drivable" but it's not 100% repaired. I went to the shop and attempted to put the car in drive but the car would not move. I've NEVER had that problem with the car. The car will only go forward if it's in 3rd gear. Worst $1600 I have ever spent.
