The service here is amazing. I was immediately seen by one of the capable mechanics who fixed the issue with my car. He gave me good tips and he went out of his way to show me how to perform some basic maintenance on my car giving me the tools I need in the future. These are good kind people who are there to help you. I drive a volvo and I will absolutely be coming back to Henry's if I need help from them in the future! I have been a customer with this establishment for thirteen years, I have never experienced this in those years, I have waited five days and have run out of rides to work, seems Henry's does not care how their customers need their automobiles to get to work to pay them. Now they are talking parts , weird it was not parts the third day or the fourth, now they are talking 'oh parts' , look when the head reception can tell me the repair person is leaving early, must be nice cause I'm missing hours at work. I came by to get my door fixed and scheduled an appointment to have a technician take a look. Something came up with work so I called, spoke with someone, and rescheduled for a Friday. When I came by on Friday. "You had an appointment today??? It looks like you had an appointment on Tuesday" So I ended up waiting over an hour. I was told I needed to have some parts ordered and they would call me when they came in so I could make an appointment to have the car fixed. They called when the parts came in and I made an appointment. When i came in for the appointment.. they said "You had an appointment today??" I literally asked "Are you serious??" (deja vu) I got a call a few hours later "we ordered the wrong handle for your car. we will give you $100 off for the inconvenience" So about a week later once the part came in I dropped my car off to have the repair done. I got a call later in the afternoon saying the repair had been done, but they didn't need the handle after all (the one they initially ordered wrong). So they charged me full price for the entire service. It was cheaper than the initial estimate (including the handle they didn't end up using), but my "inconvenience" discount seems to be severely overlooked. When I got my car back I noticed a weird creaking noise in my driver side door (opposite of the door being fixed) and as the day went on it started springing back and sticking ... it was obviously broken. I called them over the weekend to notify them of the issue. They weren't open so I had to leave a message and then call back again on Monday. When i came by they said something in my door "just broke". Granted it's an old car, but it was fine when I dropped it off... and from the way the door was sounding it seemed like someone pushed into it too hard in the wrong direction. I could be wrong (I'm no mechanic). But they ordered the part to be fixed ... DIDN'T CALL ME when the part came in (I had to call them). The front desk told me to come by "whenever" to get it fixed because it would only take 15 minutes. When I came by they said "This is a labor extensive repair, I thought you were coming by at 9am to drop it off. It will take about an hour and half". So I came by the NEXT day. It was fixed in 4 hours. I was charged full price for a problem that didn't exist until I dropped my car off with these people... They said it if it had been the same door they worked on then they would have take responsibility... but because it was the opposite one there is "no way" it could have been there fault... Um... my driver door was FINE when i dropped it off and BROKEN when I picked it up. I think SOMETHING must have happened!! Honestly, I am so angry at their lack of professionalism and organization. I have NEVER experienced a place like this in my life. They may get away with this because they are one of the only import car repairs in the city, but this service is unacceptable. I will NEVER EVER go here again OR recommend it to anyone! read more

Avoid !!! Brought my car in to get a estimate on getting the heater repaired and fix a short in the wiring and give the car a look over for anything that may be needed.They call about some added things to do so I agreed over the phone trusting them to do whats needed. So a week later they call a say the cars ready. Nothing was done to the car that I asked to be repaired. The heater is still broken and still a short in the wiring. a $1400 bill for everything else including an over $100 oil change i hear now their notorious for adding to the job. I could not get a acceptable reason for not doing to work . Seemed only interested in the fast buck. This busy has lost my trust since last time i was here the first year they were open when they wanted and needed new customers. I will drive an hour to have my car serviced next time to fort Walton beach. read more

Already had the car checked out at dealership and a specialist but was recommended to go to Henry's. Henry's added a bunch of very expensive, complex work that the other's did not. When I questioned them they said - "nevermind we don't want to work on your car". So, they only want to work on cars for people they can rip off. Stay away! read more

Seems like a competent, honest place. We had the battery die on our Volvo XC-90 and they did a fine job diagnosing the problem and fixing it relatively quickly. It looked like they were SUPER busy based on the number of cars in the parking lot either waiting for repair or to be picked up. They had three stalls of guys working. They took our car in on one afternoon and had it complete by the next day around 1 or 2. I will go back for future work on my Audi, too. read more

For starters I dropped my Range Rover off with problems with the alarm system in mid March. I was quoted $95-200 to remove/ bypass the alarm which would fix the problem. A couple days later i get a call saying they could not remove the alarm system but the key fob has been reset and it is working now. Great, I was excited to have it back and expected to only pay about $95 (lower end of the quote) since they couldnt remove the alarm. I show up and get charged $200. The very next day I had the same issue and had to have it towed back. (Still mid March) It sat in front of the shop until mid April until it was finally moved behind the shop and "hooked up to a computer" I was then told It should be ready the next day after lunch. I show up to pick it up and was told there is a short in the wiring and it will take time to find it. I was upset it was taking so long but accepted it. It sit there for about a week and then was moved in the back of the lot and sit there until I was fed up and had it taken to D'Luxe in Destin. D'Luxe had it fixed within 48 hours. Turns out the whole time it was the alternator. Now it runs perfect. Also: the day I picked it up I was told they were working on it, so i showed up to find that it hadnt been moved much less worked on. Everytime I called they were "working on it, too busy, or will have it done by the end of the week" which obviouly wasnt the case. read more

Absolutely horrible!!!!! Do not take your car here. I've been lied to and I have hired a lawyer and have turned them in to the BBB. I bought a car from a lady that couldn't afford to pick it up from them. She owed 3,500 I paid the bill and was given a one year warranty. I drove the car very little for two months and the car now has total engine failure. I towed the car to them six months ago and they will not fix the car. Now they have damaged the car and refuse to fix it. I sent a tow truck to pick up my car. It is blocked in and they will not release the keys. I need help with the local business please everyone review them. Will be presenting them with lawsuit papers before the end of this month. If you look at all the cars stacked around the place it's not a sign that they are busy. It's a sign that they sit there for months. I can't tell you how bad the service is at this place. I used to love this place a lot but after today I took my car back with the same problem as last time the window problem. They did fix this about 6-7 months ago and I paid online . Today I took it back and asked do I need to pay again with the same problem ?? They said yes !! Because They said I don't know what we did last time and on paper work just said paid and it's no tell what they did !! I'm like this is your fault you just want some money !! I had a mechanic friend check out my BMW(he works at a tow yard) and he was worrying me saying the computer isn't reading codes. All I knew is the car wouldn't start. I told Henry's I would have car towed to their shop Friday so they could look at it first thing Monday but, I wasn't able to get it there until Monday morning. Well about 30 minutes after my car was dropped off Reagan called me and told me the issue (starter and old, under powered battery). The price was a little high but they are import experts, not pep boys. To my surprise she said they could have it ready by end of day. Sure enough at 3pm Ragan called and my vehicle was ready. Henry's did excellent job. The car runs MUCH better than it did before breaking down. Reagan was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I have no idea why this place has bad reviews. I'm very happy I took a co workers advice and took it to them. I will always take this BMW to Henry's. I didn't give 5 starts because of the price but these guys are excellent. I brought my Volkswagen GTI in on a Tuesday, and told them it was running rough, and that also my clutch might be going. Nicki said she'd get back to me tomorrow. On Thursday I decided to call them to get an update. She said the mechanic thought the clutch was OK, and that they were going to check out the OBD history to try to diagnose the engine problem tomorrow morning. Both Nicki and the mechanic said they'd call me by noon. At 3 PM, I decided to call them, and they said my car hadn't been looked at yet; they'd call me Monday. On Monday, at 2 PM, after hearing nothing from them, again, I called and asked for an update. I needed a new distributor. Nicki told me she had the part, and it'd be ready tomorrow morning, first thing. So, I get a ride from a friend and show up the next morning. It wasn't ready. So, my friend had to drive me to work, and then back that afternoon, when it WAS finally done. This was one of the most aggravating experiences with a garage I've ever had. Evidently, Henry was out that week and Nicki was running things, and it was busy, but it does not excuse the atrocious service. I don't mind waiting for my car to be done, but don't tell me you'll call me back and never do (this happened four times), or tell me my car will be done when it won't. I have heard good things about these guys, and I have no doubt about their technical skill, but this was unacceptable. I was going to bring my other car here as well (Porsche), but they lost that business. read more

With a less than friendly "receptionist" (using that term loosely since she doesn't feel the need to pick up the phone or be pleasant) I've been trying for 3 weeks, then finally stopped by, only to be dealt an attitude by the thing behind the counter. Messages are not returned. Emails unacknowledged. Mechanic could not find what was wrong, back again. Bad service last time when part ordered incorrectly, then ordered incorrectly again, off the road for three weeks. read more

TERRIBLE service. I spent 1,200 dollars on trying to fix my car. When we come to pick it up the engine is shaking and the gas tank won't even open. The disrespectful staff were all having a awful attitude. The redneck lady that was at the front desk picked up the phone right in the middle of me trying to say something. That's not all. When I said that I was unsatisfied with the service the other redneck worker gave sassy replies to me. He was implying that I was stupid and shouldn't be unsatisfied with the work that they have done. What the heck?? He is entitled to his opinion and I am entitled to mine.
