Review for Billy's Sport's Bar & Grill: After standing in the sun watching the races on Memorial Day Weekend, it was a welcome relief to sit down in an air conditioned restaurant and relax with a good meal. There's a bar where people may sit, but we chose a table. The walls are adorned with horse racing memorabilia. Our server was polite, knowledgeable, and personable. She answered all of our questions and was prompt with our orders. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. It was hot, fresh, and very tasty. My PIC (partner in crime) ordered the quesadillas and they were very good! We had a great meal and cold drinks that made for a very satisfying experience. I would highly recommend this place. I'm only giving one star because I don't have the option to give zero. This is absolutely the worst experience I've EVER had at a restaurant. We never got a drink that was ordered twice, a plate was brought out three times incorrectly and then came after an hour and 15 minutes, and we were missing parts of another plate. We did not receive forks after asking and had to eat like barbarians. And servers and bartender rolled their eyes and did not apologize. We were late for the event we tried to get to. The manager did correct our bill, but never stepped in to correct our orders. read more

Great meal at the sports grill. Wish I had gone there for our 50th wedding anniversary instead of spending hundreds of dollars on the mediocre meal we had the night before at another unnamed casino. Billy the Kid Casino, my thought, was to be a nostalgic place. It was nothing more than a smokey dive. The food was good: green chile cheeseburger and quesadillas with fries and drinks. But, not for $30, plus tip. Drinks are served in low ball plastic cups, same with water. The drinks were just fountain soda. Nothing special. I about hurled by the time we quickly ate and departed. The smoke inhalation was more than I could bear. I couldn't taste my food because of it. Most restaurants have no smoking. Not the case with this one. The locals need to decide to vote out the smoking. That may not be possible, if it is on tribal land. I will also mention the waiter and cook being very nice. At least, I think it was them through the thick curtain of smoke. Don't come here if you want to avoid bronchitis and lung cancer. My eyes and nose were burning at the time. This was my first and last visit. read more

Food. Nah. Chicken tacos tasted like something delivered by Jenny Craig or Weight Watcher. "Refried" beans were pinto beans poured out of a can and chicken was completely tasteless and mushy. Steak fingers and burger were edible but nothing to write home about. Would not recommend this place at all for food. We paid $40 to sit in The Turf Club. Smokey and no fans. Waitstaff was terrible and food was worse than McDonalds. Asked for ketchup 4x before I went to kitchen and got myself. Said had full bar but couldn't make mint julep and didn't know what a mojito was. Very disappointing. read more

Back to the land of big trees and deer everywhere...and I do mean EVERYWHERE. As in at the ATM drive-thru, wondering what you can offer in the way of a snack to brighten their day. But I digress...Hubby was able to make the trip with me this weekend for work and we decided to try out the casinos. First stop BTK. If you don't dig rustic, Southern decor...NOT the place for you. I, however, do dig it and appreciated both the decor and the southern hospitality. It really is, as advertised, "The friendliest casino" from my experience. Not a bad selection of slots, but no table games for hubby. If it were just for the hospitality and the game selection, they'd get 4 stars out of me. I appreciate good, friendly service. The sports bar restaurant...ummm, no. Now the bartender was nice and attentive enough. The food was God-awful. I got the brisket tacos...which came with salsa, sour cream and rice. The rice was at least two days old and hard as a rock. The tacos were hard-shelled (wasn't expecting that, so my fault) and the brisket tasted funny and was bone-dry. My hubby had the sliders and the one I ate (since the tacos were horrible) was pretty good, but he said the two before mine had burned buns and weren't good at all. There was karaoke going on that night (Friday) and it was obviously a regular stop for lots of folks to sing, and some were pretty darned good at it. So atmosphere is nice, the service on the floor looked pretty good. So for fun & games, I give it a solid two thumbs up...but the food...oy. :( read more

My brother & sister in law wanted all you can eat seafood so we went here. NOPE! I was afraid to eat anything because it was all placed over bunt burners, the peal and eat shrimp was water logged, the fried fish didn't look like the took the skin off, the crab legs where cut in half to save money, the baked potatoes where good, small none assuming salad bar with not much to choose from and only ranch dressing, didn't try the other fish dishes because I couldn't tell what they where, over cooked frozen mixed veggies...nope, husband took a slice of the "prime rib" it had no flavor and was tuff, the frozen fried shrimp was ok with a ton of cocktail sauce and so where the little crawdad/langoustines with tons of butter. The waitress was horrible to busy talking to the five ranch hands at the table next to us, good looking boys/men but there is a time and place for flirting and it's not at work, she only came to our table twice to clear plates and see if we needed anything else.
