    Noisy Water wine menu

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday when we were driving to Carlsbad. We figured a little wine tasting would be a good way to break up the drive and we were right! When we first arrived we were not sure we were in the correct place. There is a sign marking winetasting in the front yard, but when we walked up to the house we still felt unsure. To clarify for future attendees: the wine tasting room is adjacent to a gallery which has hotel rooms above it. We walked into the gallery towards the left and were graciously shown through to the wine tasting room which is on the right side of the building. We chose to sit in the sunroom surrounded by large geranium plants and lots of sunshine. We were surprised to find that the sunroom was pleasantly warm despite it being January! Our hostess greeted us immediately and gave us menus of wine and appetizers to choose from. We chose to do two flights of wine so that we could test all the wine that Sentinel offers. Sentinel makes their own wine, but also partners with Noisy Water winery and sells their products. This is the first time that I have been to a winery and have liked every single one that I have tried!! The Reds and the whites were all delicious in their own unique way and I cannot recommend them enough! My favorite was the Ancient Lands red, which had a strong caramel nose and a slight sweetness which I have not come across before. We bought a bottle for home we loved it so much! The setting of this sweet little winery along with the unique wine offerings and attentive and kind staff make this a must try for any wine lover in New Mexico! Tip: make sure to explore the gallery with a glass of wine so you can properly take in the beautiful artwork that flows throughout the home, you won't regret it!

This place is divided into two sections, one section is the store where you can buy various snack items, oils, and souvenirs. The other section has the bar, here you can enjoy various items such as their charcuterie board which is delicious or buy some bottles of wine to-go or to enjoy in store. The service is always friendly and they do have various specials/deals on certain days of the week. Although this place is a lot smaller than the one in ruidoso, it's still a very enjoyable place to stop by and share a bottle of wine with your favorite friend/relatives.

Their wine bottle prices weren't ridiculously high and they offered charcuterie platters and cheese trays- yum! My husband and I each had 5 tastings to better sample their varietals. We were both floored with the Demigod. Their curtain call was also made our top 3 list. If you go, you just try their hatch chili wine!! While we both preferred their green hatch, the red was different and might better suit others palates. Their sweet wines are definitely sweet and would please those with that as their preference. We loved this place so much we became wine members. Daniel was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, down to earth and made us feel like VIPs from the get go.

The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.

Easy, right? Well... not quite. The store itself is quaint and charming, filled with all kinds of temptations. Pistachios in every form, chocolates, wines, and gift options that make you rethink your original plan. You can taste a little of everything, which is both delightful and dangerous. Then we stepped out onto the patio with our pistachio ice cream, and wow... completely unexpected. The space is gorgeous. Calm, open, and the kind of place that makes you slow down without even trying. Honestly, if I lived nearby, I'd be planning celebrations here without a second thought. Somewhere between the views and the tasting, I tried their pistachio rosé. And yes, I had the same reaction, "wait... what?" But it worked. Different, pleasant, and surprisingly good. Good enough that I completely abandoned my pistachio gift plan and walked out with several bottles instead. A much more unique surprise. The staff were warm and welcoming, adding to the whole experience. No rush, no pressure, just genuine friendliness. We didn't have as much time as I would have liked, and that's probably the only downside. This is the kind of place where you want to linger longer, taste more, and just enjoy the moment. Came for pistachios. Left with wine and zero regrets.

The inviting patio to sip on wine amongst the carefully pruned trees was a bonus Grateful for such an inspiring experience, especially Melissia and Sabrine. #SupportLocal #SustainableFarming #Gratitude
