The class was well organized and the chef, kitchen staff and volunteers were helpful and attentive. A very nice way to spend time meeting new people while having fun with your friends, family or solo. Unfortunately for us, the old adage "too many cooks in the kitchen" applies here. When class started we were told there would be plenty of food, but we definitely left hungry & a tad disappointed in what was served. We made a lot of shrimp, yet each person got 3. Our table was curious where they all went. The melon on the salad was not ripe, making it unpleasant to eat. The main entree, eggplant parm, was completely inedible by everyone. Apparently, the eggplant had been salted before the students arrived and then salted again during class. So no one had any main entree. The finale was a scoop of ice cream. This made us feel as though we got very little value considering the cost for the class as we certainly could have enjoyed a meal at a sit down restaurant for less & left full. Don't get me wrong, there is value in expertise and instruction, but not $200 worth. However, at the end of the day, it was a good time and we would like to try another class in the future.

For a business that specializes in restaurant equipment, I expected at least a basic level of quality control before selling items to customers. When I reached out to request a replacement, they refused and instead suggested that it might be the outlet in my restaurant. I had already tried the refrigerator in multiple outlets and when I informed them of that, they still refused to replace the refrigerator and instead offered to send out a technician. That response felt inadequate given that the refrigerator never worked in the first place. I didn't pay for a repair project - I paid for a working refrigerator. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have had a bad experience with Mr. V's which makes this situation more frustrating. Based on my experiences, and what I have heard from others, they seem to have a reputation for selling equipment that doesn't work as it should. Overall, the lack of accountability and unwillingness to make things right has left a bad impression. I would not recommend purchasing equipment from this company unless you are prepared to deal with similar issues.
