At $16 I was expecting a good meal, but sadly I got the micro sandwich that appears in the picture. My fellow diners wrap looked a far better proposition and luckily she shared with me or I would have been hungry after my expensive toastie. The flavours were good. The abovementioned is a mix of black tea, cactus blossoms, amaranth, mango pieces, pomegranate blossoms and ground chilli pods. They will be the best, juiciest apples you have ever tasted (unless you grow your own). They won't taste anything like the perfect looking but average tasting rubbish that the supermarket has had in cold store for months. But it's a 2 way deal - The grower (a lovely bloke by the name of Cedric) gets about 4 bucks a kilo which is about 3.50 a kilo more than he gets selling to the supermarkets. And the supermarkets reject anything with the slightest blemish so he loses over half his crop each year. You aren't that silly and know that a tiny mark on the skin doesn't change the taste so he gets to sell more of his crop and not have to throw so much away. So...you get amazing apples. Cedric gets not ripped off. You prevent the waste of tons of perfectly good to eat fruit. Everyone wins. Support your local producers folks.
