This was in April of 2023. It is now over 2-years later and Barry Efron has not completed the task that he has been hired to complete. He does not communicate in a timely manner and fails to meet promised timelines. You can email, call and even text him and he purposely neglects to respond. His lack of professionalism and integrity is causing me to file a complaint with the Texas State Bar Association, which if you read their website and the biography of his father Jack was a respected member. This firm is a family business and that is commendable but Barry Efron does not represent the professionalism that his father has established according to the biography. As I am an out of state client, I am limited to who can handle this case, I will endeavor to have him complete what he was paid for upfront. I recommend that anyone seeking to use this firm to get in writing upfront established timelines and only pay for what has been completed.

Not only is he very rash in making statements, and does not let you finish everything that needs to be said, but he is not up-to-date with the current times, where social media plays an important part of a case. Greatly being brassy and abruptive when discussing details, he gets emotional and flies off the handle when he doesn't understand something, and at the same time, does not ask enough questions nor do enough research to investigate the problems of a case. Mort simply refuses to understands the great dynamics involved with social media of how businesses, including mine, use and rely on social media as a main point of obtaining work, clients, thus income, as he outrightly dismisses the importance of it. Above all, he does not take the time to review all aspects of a case regarding obtaining the proper evidence and facts. Furthermore, he never greets you cordially but barges into the room abruptly without a proper handshake or hello. Lastly, his staff will give you a hard time if you attempt to use your credit card to pay your bills, citing, (I quote from his partner), "We have to pay credit card fees and want to avoid that." It is really rude to speak to a client like that. Seek elsewhere and get someone who is open-minded and understands the changing society and lifestyles, that pertain to a case. It is vital and helpful in winning your case or fixing a problem. I believe Mort needs to calm down, learn about the changing times and simply just learn to listen better.
