TLDR: I accepted a new offer at Capital One. The time I spent with Wilma gave me the confidence I needed to know I would nail the interview process. Details: I highly recommend Wilma if you are prepping for job interviews and feeling nervous, discouraged or any of the other feelings that come along with the search for a new job. It has been almost a full year since I first spoke with Wilma and Arlene, and it has been one of the most surprising and rewarding years I have experienced in a long time. To say that they have changed my life is an understatement. I had been out of the workforce for over twenty years while raising our three boys, and recently divorced, when I spoke with Wilma and Arlene last summer. I was introduced to Wilma over three years ago when I contacted them in 2017 with insight on a resume and cover letter. However, I decided at the time that I simply could not afford them. So, I chose a different writer and what I got was an average resume and CL. Which simply ended me nowhere and I simply gave up after about 4 months. Working with Life Working was a great experience for me, especially as someone with only over a year of professional experience. After a time where my job made me question if my career was headed in the right direction, Life Working was able to give me direction on how to discover what job sector was right for me, and what aspects of the company I worked for didn't work for me, and how to tie that altogether in plan of what to specifically look for in my next job (which I found!).
