I had a breast reduction in December of 2021, the result was great , The team at Alta View Hospital was exceptional, however during an over the phone follow up with 3 of the women that worked or maybe still work for Dr, Bindrup at his office, I had the worst experience with all 3 of them, they were not listening to what I was trying to explain , one of them kept repeating my first name over and over again interrupting me, I was on pain meds from the surgery so a bit irritable and in pain, so I raised my voice for like a second to make this one receptionist listen to no avail. I called back and asked to talk to the clinic manager and her answer was " The most important thing to me is my staff, not the patients" I was stunned. Yet i went a couple of days later to see Dr. Bindrup for him to check in person how I was doing and remove the drainage. I tried to share with him my bad experience with his staff, and he said, " I don't care what happened, you yelled at them and that is the only part that matters" He would not even hear me out about how rude and out of line they were. Some doctors can be great surgeons but have staff members that ruin their reputation. This was the case , I was going to refer 2 friends to him but after this experience I decided not to. read more

I was skeptical about getting my breasts redone. I had an augmentation done in 2008 and wanted new implants. My original doc retired so I had to find a new one. This was the best decision Ive ever made. Dr. Bindrup has the best staff, bedside manner, professionalism! He is an absolute perfect doc. You can't go wrong in choosing him to do your surgery. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2022. My treatment course involved a double mastectomy. I knew right away I would want reconstruction and thankfully Dr. Bindrup accepted my insurance. Dr. Bindrup, Tausha Jensen NP, and all of the staff at Dr. Bindrup's office have been so kind and compassionate through this journey! They are patient, they take the time to explain things to me (when you have a traumatic diagnosis your brain doesn't always absorb everything very well), and I have not had a problem with getting appointments scheduled when needed. I am now done with the first stage of reconstruction and Dr. Bindrup listened to me and my concerns, and I am very satisfied with the results! This journey isn't ove for me yet - I will need more reconstruction this year. But I am so thankful it will be Dr. Bindrup and Tausha doing these procedures! While the general surgeon and oncologist have been working to rid my body of cancer, Dr. Bindrup and Tausha have been very focused on helping restore my sense of self. First impression was the clinical staff stating no mask is needed on the office, vaccinated or not. Not a very attentive or informative office. A lot of different information given by the surgeon and nursing staff. Doesn't seem like everyone is on the same page. The surgeon didn't seem very interested in any part of the after care or concerns. My sister is still alive but has been told by her physician no further contact is needed with this office. read more

Are you kidding me?! The best of the best! Dr Jed Bindrup is an amazing surgeon. He did my very first augmentation in 1996 and I have referred patients to him ever since. His skills combined with his office staff are of the highest quality. I just went back to have a lift and new augmentation. It was another great experience. I live in Arizona now, but it is worth the travel to see him. Do yourself a favor book a consultation and get the job done right! read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a dr, especially a plastic surgeon. I waited four months for this appt. they called and confirmed. I drove 40 min in the rain to get there, arrived 10 min early. They said my appt was an hour ago at 2:30. I saw on their paper that it said 2:30. But I was told 3:30. After being told-rudely- that they could do nothing to help the situation I sat in my car and found my voicemail where they confirmed the appt. 3:30. The receptionist confirmed my appt at 3:30 on both my voicemail and when we talked the next day. I understand that patients make mistakes. But so do receptionist. If I wasn't bawling my eyes out I would walk back into your office and show you the voicemail. But you don't deserve anymore of my time and you certainly don't deserve my money. read more

First off we had the impression that he was one of the leading plactic surgeons in his feild for breast augmentation in the state of Utah. We had heard nothing but great things about this Dr and how well his reputation was in what he does. Well my girlfriend originally got her breasts done in January and they did not turn out as expected. Well she went back in to see him and tell him what was going on with her breasts well long story short she had to go back under the knife well the second time she got the surgery done and he really messed up my girlfriends tits bad. like one is a lot bigger than the other and it's not a suttle difference it's like a whole.cup size and they look bad and the pain that I have had to see the love of my life go through is heart breaking to me as a boyfriend. she got the breast job done to feel better about herself and make her feel like a million dollars. but Dr.bindrup has made my girlfriends life unbareable she is very self cautious as to what she wears now because like I said it's not a suttle difference it's really really bad and it went from bad to worse almost over night. I don't recommend this doctor at all.. my ladie is so not happy with how things turned out that she wishes that she never got the surgery done in the first place.. not to mention that she has been in horrible pain almost a month after the surgery. And the normal healing time is sposto be just a few days. From what I understand... So until he makes this right and I hate to see my woman go under the knife for the third time this year but hopefully the saying is true third time is a charm. Let's hope so I'm leaving my rating at a one if I could put a my rating at a half star I would. so let's just hope he can make this right and maybe then I'll change my opinion of him and his practice. Dr. Bindrup is wonderful! From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Bindrup and his staff was beyond expectation. I live in SoCal, and consulted with many doctors in Orange County before choosing Dr. Bindrup. Once I met with him, there was no question that he was the right surgeon for me. The staff at Dr. Bindrup's office is extremely kind and professional, which made me even more confident in my decision. The day of my surgery, was much more pleasant than expected. The surgical team was so nice! They had me laughing until I the second I went under. After surgery, Dr. Bindrup took the time to explain in detail how to care for my incisions, and what to expect. Now, 5 weeks post surgery, I can't believe how remarkable my incisions look. I am beyond pleased with the outcome. In short, Dr. Bindrup is the best. He is truly magic! read more

I'm very disappointed in my surgery results. I followed all of the protocol to the dot and ended up with nerve damage on my left breast. I'm in pain on a daily basis and it's been almost a year since my surgery. I was in contact with Dr Bindrup and his team and was working diligently to try and reverse some of the damage with no such luck. I was told to continue taking 800mg of IB to help with the pain and inflation even if I wasn't sore. Long story short I had to see my doctor because of esophageal burning from taking the IB daily for several months (as prescribed). I feel as though the nurses and doctor are not on the same page with each other. I will need another surgery to correct the damage and will have to of course pay for that. A dear friend of mine who had her surgery done 2 weeks after me is also having to get another surgery to correct damage. Horrible experience and I should have researched longer for a more experienced doctor who values his work read more

I'm very disappointed in the outcome of my breast augumemtation. Dr. Bindrup did my surgery 16 years ago. I went to a few other Dr.'s to see where I wanted to go to replace my old ones and get a few things corrected. I told Dr. Bindrup the things I wanted to fix and what I wanted to change and he was going to make these changes. I'm very disappointed in my results. I went to him again because he knew my exact cc's in mine before. He said he would fix the things that I wanted to be fixed. My breasts look the exact same as my before surgery picture. Nothing changed except for the product inside. $5,000 down the drain. There actually slightly smaller. When I went in to talk about it he of course wanted to charge me again for something he didn't hold up on his end. I don't recommend seeing Dr. Bindrup. I won't see him for anything again in the future. I've heard great things about Dr. Self who works in the same building. Dr. Bindrup just cares about money and not someone's happiness. read more

I had my first surgery in May of 2015. After my first surgery, I followed the protocol step by step. Wore the correct bra's and spent a lot of money to ensure that my results would be perfect! During the process, I got a terrible infection. I called the office many times to let them know about the infection, pain, scabbing and scaring that was going on. Nothing was done about this. I finally had to see my family doctor to be put on some antibiotics to cure the infection. This left a large scar on my right breast. After the first 3 months, I noticed that my areolas were different sizes and my right-side implant had fallen out of its pocket. I called the office and his staff to see what we could have done; to see what course of action needed to be put into place to make this surgery a positive experience with the results I was striving for. There was no course of action taken I went back into see Dr. Bindrup and was basically told well, you need to pay another $1,000 and then we will fix the mistake. I finally decided to pay the extra money and have a second surgery in July of 2016 to fix the issues. It is now January 2017 and I still have the exact same issues. One areola is larger and now my left side has fallen out of its pocked. I refuse to have him touch me again. At this point I can confidently say it's all about the money and not the craftsmanship of his work. I also had a great friend of mine go in just two weeks before my first surgery. She also followed protocol to a tee and had nerve damage to her left breast. Was told to take 800mg of IB to help with the pain. She was prescribed that for so long that it left her with esophageal burning and didn't help the pain. The nurses and doctors were not on the same page with either one of us, which leads me to believe this is just normal practice for them.
