Every time i've been here i constantly get ripped off, they rip off grown out acrylics with another nail which is extremely uncomfortable and damaging, they do a poor job at application that does not last, a week after getting acrylics done the polish on my french tip chipped off. They overcharge every set, once paid in cash and instead of asking if i wanted to tip just took all the cash and said have a good day. one time i didn't want them to rip off my grown out acrylics so i did it on my own at home and when i went in they judged and laughed at me telling me that's not okay, when they would've done the exact same thing. I have watched one of the workers clip their own nails and put it back in the drawer to use on the next customer. Terrible service read more

I decided to stop in at Binh's in Spruce Grove since I hadn't ever tried it before but had good experiences at other Binh's locations. First of all, I loved that I was asked whether I wanted a manicure or just a shellac fill. I'm never asked that so I always thought the price was just what it was. It was much less expensive with just the fill, the girl was so cute, she worked fast, and I love the way my nails turned out. I wanted a natural colour and this was perfect. A higher-end nail place actually destroyed my nails not too long ago, so I decided to go with shellac just to make them stronger. I'll be back to the SG location, that's for sure!!! read more

I had an awkward experience today during my pedicure. She was a young very thin employee that told me to sit down, no hello or introduction, and went about asking if I wanted a 'Spa Pedicure'. I told her no thanks and that I just wanted a regular pedicure, she seemed annoyed and was quite cold and pushy the entire service. Slapping my leg to put it back in the water, and made me feel stupid for not wearing my own flip flops while it's still technically winter outside. I won't be going back. This salon is the BEST, the prices are nice and they are so kind to me. The girls are cute and have good designs.

Went to have gel polish removed from fingernails (it was applied in Victoria where they remove it by soaking nails in solution and gently pushing it off, without damage). I assumed this was the only way. At Binh, they used some sort of high speed sanding tool that badly damaged my nails. It will take months to grow them out. Some cracked below the white part as the scratches were very deep . They filed my nails with a used emery board. All equipment should be new or sterilized. This place should not have a business licence. One star is as low as I could choose, but not low enough. read more

last visit was truly my last visit. Chose 3 colours all of which they didn't have. Some of the girls are rude, wait times are horrible and the girl that did my nails charged me 30 just for colour on my toes (no pedicure) even though I was also getting a fill. She was very rude and treated me like an inconvenience. Said - "you haven't been here before" When I've been going there for 6 months regularly. Very rude technician. She did not greet my daughter or me, nor did she correct the terrible job she did on my nails. They are jagged and thick and unshaped. Bathroom is dirty, as are the uv hand ports. They did not bleach the pedi station....very concerning health and safety issues. ....pay the extra and go somewhere better. read more

The lady who did my nails did a crappy job. Looks like she was just practising on me and didnt know how to do pedicures. She didn't clean them very well, slapped on the polish .. some part of my nails weren't covered with the polish. No pride in her work. Soooooo disappointed!!!! read more

Just got back from there after reading good reviews, and boy was I disappointed. I found the staff not very friendly, I asked for french tips with a butterfly painted on each ring finger. The artwork was so bad I asked her to just remove it. When I got home I had to clean up all the left-over product out from the back of the nails because she did such a poor job. I went in with gloriously bushy eyebrows and just needed a quick clean up. She BRAZILIANed my eyebrows. I have less than a milimeter left. The worker also also left the grease all over my forehead and in my hair. I left crying. read more

make sure you look at the price list and make sure you tell them exactly what you want or they will rip you off and give you services you didn't ask for to charge you more. They also made two of my fingers bleed and the polish is very uneven and doesn't even cover the whole nail, I could have done better myself. Do NOT recommend this place. read more

Not at all impressed! I've been going to this nail salon for over two years. I have my nails done almost twice every month. Every girl who gets a fresh set every month knows this is pricey. I also bring in my daughters for there nails from time to time. I don't make appointments because I and am always happy with which ever staff I get and ALWAYS leave a generous tip. For the first time I had a problem with my shilac peeling off my freshly done set. I had to return three times to get a repair. The second time I was asked to come back the following day. I changed the colour because they had ran out of the pink I had and i didn't want to risk it peeling again. They tried charging me $15 for changing the colour. I would also like to add that I had my nails done special for Easter and while hostessing my family dinner I had peeled ugly fake nails which looks terrible after paying $65 for them. I think this was very greedy and a bad business move. I was insulted and instantly upset. Apparently it doesn't matter how much of a loyal customer you are... Your still just a customer. I won't be returning to this location ever again. read more

This is my second time going here for a pedicure, my first experience was great!! However my experience yesterday was HORRIBLE! We had appointments and my sister was 15 min into hers before mine even started (not a big deal) but then the girl doing mine was VERY rough!!! I was cringing it was so uncomfortable. Then part way through I could feel the sole of my foot start burning, when I looked there was a big cut in the arch! This must've happened when she was using the yellow sponge scrubber (as that was when I felt she was the most rough!) I honestly don't think I will ever return!!! It is now sore to walk and I am treating it to prevent infection. I do not recommend! read more

Canada Safeway is promoting a prepaid VISA card. If you load the card with $200 you receive 75 airmiles. What they don't tell you is the fees for having this prepaid VISA card are $135. You don't know what the fees are until you pay $5.95 to activate the card and then open the packet to read the agreement. If you don't use the card you are supposed to be able to get a refund but it can take up to 30 days. This is a huge SCAM perpetrated by 2 supposedly reputable companies VISA and CANADA SAFEWAY. DO NOT EVER BUY A PREPAID VISA CARD FROM SAFEWAY. read more
