Some of her commentary is Captain Obvious. Everyone knows that drinking lots of water is good for your skin and smoking is bad for it, but now I understand the importance of toner. And she didn't try to hard sell me anything. Whew! Plus she's very thorough. She did my face, neck, arms and hands and included a scalp massage. Sooooo relaxing. I had a grab a coffee before I headed home. I'm planning on bringing my vegan sister here for a facial, or whatever else she might like. I've been on their website, and they have a lot to offer at pretty decent prices. The only thing I DIDN'T like, was the rickety bed thingy I had to climb onto for my facial. Felt like I was trying to mount an ironing board. I'm a big woman, and I didn't really feel like I fit on the thing. I had to tuck my hands beneath me, because there was no place to rest my arms. To be honest, if it wasn't for the conversation, I may not have been so relaxed, and this might be a different review altogether. I mean, I was very relaxed from the facial, but mostly because I forgot I was slabbed out on a tiny cot. This one thing alone is the sole reason I can't give this spa a five star review.

Apparently they had not recorded the certificate number or my credit card number, which the amount had already been with drawn! Just wow. That's awesome customer service right there folks. I was even happier that they were able to get me an appt. for a 60 min. therapeutic massage the same afternoon. Woot! I arrived 15 min. early to fill out a few forms. The reception area was nice, and had some good products available. The seating was on the window ledge, sun shining in, nice. I didn't wait long until Tiffany came to get me. The massage rooms are nice and cozy, quiet & dim, with a great choice of music as well. Tiffany got to work and took care of all those knots and tight areas! Her technique is firm, but relaxing and she has a knack for pinpointing those sore spots you didn't know you had. I'm going to make an effort to come back regularly. My back feels better than it has in a LONG time.

I know a few ladies who would appreciate this. The atmosphere is so feminine and fun. The staff truly go out of their way to make you feel pampered. Last year for my mothers birthday 4 of us ladies celebrated at T.O.B.R! They helped customize treatments and provided snacks and refreshments. It was so fun! I actually started going to them because I stumbled upon Time Out's website, which is beautiful! And you can book online! Following them on Facebook is also great, they mention open slots for massages, hair, aesthetics etc... Another awesome perk they participate in is a membership card system. Each visit they mark down the value of your service then once you get to your 10th visit they average out your total spent and give you that amount in free service. I have tried each and every one of their services, from waxing to facials - body wraps to pedicures, I have yet to be dissatisfied. This is my favourite Spa in town!!
