From the very beginning, she stood out not only for her deep knowledge of family law and the legal system, but also for the heart and compassion she brings to her work. She took the time to truly understand my situation, guided me through every step, and fought for what was fair and right with unwavering dedication. One thing that really stood out was her honesty and transparency about pricing. She always made sure I understood my options, never pressured me, and worked with me to find solutions that fit my budget and comfort level. That kind of integrity is rare, and it made the entire process so much less stressful. What makes her exceptional is that she genuinely cares about her clients and their families. She balances professionalism with empathy, making you feel supported and heard throughout the process. It's rare to find someone who is both an outstanding attorney and a wonderful human being, but she is exactly that. If you're looking for a family attorney who is sharp, passionate, honest, and truly committed to her clients, I can't recommend Emily highly enough. She changed my life and gave me hope when I needed it most. As a parent, nothing is more precious than your child and their wellbeing. Emily helped me in protecting my son and saving my kiddo from some serious heartache.

Emily was an outstanding mediator to work with. Although we were unable to reach an agreement in our case (due to lack of cooperation from the other party), Emily was wonderful throughout the process. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone in need of mediation services.

It is intended to share my honest perspective, as is my right under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). Readers should conduct their own research, form their own opinions, and proceed accordingly when choosing legal representation. My overall experience with this attorney did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I did not achieve the objectives I had hoped for, and my situation worsened during the course of representation. My case took a significant amount of time to get filed, and communication with the attorney was challenging. During our three in-person meetings, no clear goals or deadlines were established. As a result, my family and I faced serious consequences, including the risk of foreclosure on our home, the repossession of my truck, and significant emotional distress. An emergency bankruptcy was filed only after my truck was repossessed, which left me unable to earn income. This, in turn, affected my ability to make Chapter 13 payments, leading to the dismissal of my case despite my efforts to secure employment. I was not notified when my case was closed and only learned about it through a letter from the court and a different attorney who informed me that my mother's home was at risk of being sold by the bank. I found the lack of communication and clarity regarding my case deeply frustrating. In my opinion, the attorney abandoned my case and has not responded to my attempts to seek clarification or answers about the court correspondence I have received. While I acknowledge that my financial difficulties are ultimately my responsibility, I sought this attorney's help in good faith to navigate my circumstances. I had hoped for more proactive communication and exploration of alternative options, such as filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which might have better addressed my situation. My mother also had a case with this attorney, which was similarly discontinued. However, in her case, the attorney made an effort to notify her and connect her with a different attorney. It remains unclear to us why her case was not pursued further. I want to emphasize that my experience with the attorney's paralegals was excellent. Carmen, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me and was consistently available to address my concerns. I greatly appreciate her efforts and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not work with this attorney again. However, I encourage others to conduct their own research and make their own decisions when selecting legal representation. Edit: To retaliate is to return a harmful action with another harmful one, often in an attempt to get revenge or "even the score". Some examples include throwing a rock after being hit with one, a manager firing an employee for filing a complaint, or a country imposing tariffs after another country imposes them. Writing a fair and honest account of my experience with any business is a Constitutionally protected right. The implication that my review is retaliation in and of itself suggests that harm was somehow done to me first, so what exactly is being said here? It is categorically false and I can assure that my fair and honest review was posted simply to share my experiences with this attorney as many other people have done. It's not irregular or retaliatory for customers to review their experiences. It's part of a healthy open market system that promotes transparency and helps others make informed decisions. The personal attacks posted in response to my review are shocking and unacceptable. Revealing private information about my case is highly concerning because it violates the duty of confidentiality. This duty is protected by strict professional rules. The narrative presented in the comments is missing context and for the most part untrue.

Nancy was so incredibly helpful, PATIENT, and easy to talk with. Now full disclosure, I didn't realize that people this wonderful worked in the legal profession....yes, I might be a bit jaded...lol!! Nancy didn't even skip a beat while listening to my rant and continued to decipher the required information. Her PATIENCE, professionalism, knowledge, ability and speed were truly remarkable!! Everything was filed perfectly and accepted on time. Platinum Paralegals offers competitively priced services but with a level of service that far exceeded our expectations!! I am a "FREE MAN" with no encumbrances because of their dedication and devotion explaining in details of what will happen and won't happen in a divorce. Be direct and be open with them. Remember when you hire them, they'll protect your best interest and well-being. They will be on your side throughout the process. The process was prolonged because the petitioner was attempting to change the terms with spousal support but when we got to the settlement court, it came back to "my" original terms. All of my ex's attempts to wring me dry blew up back on her face. She kept excusing herself from the court to make phone calls to her associates familiar with the law only to return to agree to "my" terms. Made attempts to make me look bad, and accusations but I have strong evidence against her physical and verbal abusiveness, neurotic and erratic behavior and mannerisms. All the accusations were false or circumstantial and that won't fly in a court of law. Realizing from her own counsel she had backed herself against the wall and had no choice but to agree to every term of the MSA. The most surprising embarrassment and shame was during the explanation of the terms. The respondent actually requested my lawyer "Joy" and the judge to explain the terms as if she was a 5th grader??!! I wanted to burst out laughing but that wouldn't be appropriate in court. Most importantly, at the end of the signing of the judgement my ex (respondent) stated out loud in court in front of the judge that "If she had any friends that will be going through a divorce, she would recommend Joy's family law firm". Explicitly, stating that Joy and her associates are the BEST hands down EXCEPTIONAL!! Joy and her team made feel like family members helping me throughout the process and they are a God Send. I cannot express in words what they've done for me. I love them with all my heart. The Righteous will always Prevail

Joy and Bradley have been a huge blessing to my Father and I…read more My Dad is 79 years old and his Ex Wife, who he divorced over 35 years ago, decided to press charges and sue my father for missed alimony payments. This news has been distressing for us, especially since this was our first holiday season with out my own mother, who had passed in August of this year. My Fathers Ex Wife decided to sue and press charges in November. It was a very stressful Thanksgiving when I saw that my Dad had been served these charges. I looked up a Law Firm close to where my father lives and found Joy and her firm. I am so glad that I pushed my Dad to apply when I did! Joy and her team looked over the papers and saw we had already missed a court date and did not receive all of the papers as expected. I am so Thankful that Joy took on my Dad's case! Joy assigned Bradley to be my Dads Lawyer and I have been nothing but impressed by him. Bradley has gone above and beyond helping my Dad understand the charges and his options. Even when they had to appear in court some distance away, Bradley took it upon himself to drive my Dad down to the Court House. (Something I was so worried about! Thinking that I would have to take time off work to make sure my Dad got up on time and be ready for.) Since my mothers passing, I have noticed that grief has slowed down my Dad a bit. I live 3 hours away from him and work full time, so looking after him has been a challenge for me. I am dealing with my own grief in loosing my mother but I cant imagine what my Dad is going through, having just lost his Best Friend and the Love of his life. Speaking with Bradley after the trial, that had been thankfully thrown out, made me feel comforted that my Dad is in good hands and is being taken care of. Bradley is a very smart, well spoken and kind person. My Dad has been talking up Bradley a lot on our phone calls. Saying how he listens to him and allows my Dad to talk out his grief and fears. My Dad feels supported and very Thankful to Bradley and Joy. Even though the trial had been thrown out, Bradley was already starting to prepare for any future charges from my dads ex wife. Naturally on Christmas Eve, she did press charges on him again. I know this battle is not yet over, but I have so much confidence and faith in Bradley and Joy. They have brought my Dad and I so much peace and comfort. Something I would not have expected feeling so soon since my mothers passing. I want to Thank you Joy and Bradley for everything you have done and are doing for my Dad. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
