This has certainly decreased how frequently I shop at Big Lots. In general service is poor. That includes Big Lots "rewards" card. (Mine never worked and no one could ever fix it.) Availability of stock on the shelf is rather hit or miss. I see a lot of employee turnover, so I imagine it may not be the best place to work. If you don't need help, count your bags before leaving, and like discounts, this may be a great store for you!

We waited and finally a woman sauntered over in front of two aisles. I asked which one was she using and she said this one in a not so nice tone of voice. Like I was stupid or something. She was not friendly about it at all. Then we pushed our cart up out of the way and preceded to pay for our items when she asked if that was our cart. I said yes and she said to get it and put it back outside! I told my husband that we needed to move it which he did. I have never had to take my own cart back out the front door before! I've never been told to take my own cart out the front door at any other store! Plus, her overall attitude makes me to never want to go back. We did not see that we could save any money shopping at Ollie's! Overall a bad experience!
