It's cool to have in-house Diagnostic Laboratory at every medical building of Memorial Hermann Southwest. The best part about Medical Plaza 2 is the small parking lot next to the back entrance. No crossing street and no crazy garage drivers. Just remember about the parking fee. They don't validate and kiosk takes credit card and cash only. If you collect Susan B Anthony coins, this machine would give you plenty. I noticed the bathroom was very clean and they got really comfortable toilet seat. So if I have natural's call in a hurry, I'd pay $4 to park here and enjoy the amenities on the first floor.

Came to LabCorp but my doctors lab tech was unable to draw my blood. I was pretty annoyed I had to…read moremake an appointment at another facility but was pleasantly surprised because there were so many locations to choose from near my home. I was able to make my appointment online and check-in using the QR Code included in the confirmation email from when I made the appointment. As soon as I checked in it gives you an approximate wait time (mine was 4 minutes). I handed my paperwork to CiCi (spelling) at the front desk and I was getting my blood work done and out the door in less than 20 minutes! This was awesome! My only complaint is parking. You have to pay to park and the amount you pay is dependent on how long you are there. So I paid $5 dollars for being there 30 mIn.

Overall, not a bad experience…read more Making an appointment was super easy, just had to log on to their website and choose an appointment time for the location I wanted. There's a pre-screening application you have to fill out - name, address, insurance, etc. I had to print out a sheet for the lab to fill out. I got a text with check-in instructions and confirmed the appointment while waiting in the parking lot. When the appointment is ready, I got a text to come inside. The lab is on the 2nd floor straight out of the elevator. I was called less than 5 minutes after entering. The lab tech took me back and locked my personal belongings in a box in the bathroom, I guess to prevent fraud? He took my ID and gave me a sample cup for a urine sample, giving me 4 minutes. Again, I guess to prevent fraud. After giving the sample, the tech signed me out on the computer and sent me on my way, saying the results would be sent to my employer in 24 hours. I was in and out in 15 minutes, pretty painless.
