Always super fast at the Michigan biolifes! Haven't failed me yet. I've gone to 3 locations in the state now and I've been in and out in 1 hour or less at all 3 locations. Why does the Mesa location take soooo long ! read more

If you schedule an appointment, expect to wait at least 2-3 hours. It is ridiculous. I will never understand why they book so many people for one time slot. I have come in 4 different times and left before donating because I was not able to spend 2-3 hours donating with the wait time. BioLife, if you're reading this, I GUARANTEE you will get more donors if you stop double/triple/quadruple booking donors and making them leave. You will be able to save more lives with more donations if you either work on your scheduling system or increase staff. I would rather drive 45 minutes to another center than go here (it would take less time!) read more

Clean, fast, and friendly. Everything you look for in a business. One time they had an issue accessing my vein. Sent me on my way but still paid me. No complaints. read more

Absolutely horrible experience here; my little brother tried to donate plasma here and each time he went in, waited about an hour while they asked more questions, only to be sent away at the last second; the first time they were upset that his birth name was different from legal name (he had brought in several different documents to prove his identity but they were still unsatisfied- also it took them an HOUR of waiting before they noticed the name issues?? He filled out a ton of other paperwork and waited a long time only to be sent away, and it wasn't like they had just noticed the issue they complained to him from the beginning about the name thing they noticed right away and waited an hour to do anything about it) The second incident was by far the most insulting; he went in with the new paper work, filled out more, waited another hour only to be sent away again, this time flat out just because my brother is trans. Keep in mind- he has been on testosterone for 3 YEARS now, he very much looks and sounds conventionally masculine (not that it should matter) basically the only thing conventionally feminine about him at this point is what's down under, and yet THE ENTIRE TIME throughout BOTH of these trips to try and donate blood he was referred to by his dead name and incorrect pronouns- they were incredibly disrespectful, clearly never intending to allow him to give blood and yet they made him spend HOURS over this ordeal, coming in TWICE, until they finally just gave him the real reason why they had been giving us a hard time. One of the doctors there straight up looked him in the eyes and said, "when a female starts taking testosterone, it messes with her head..." IM NOT KIDDING, THATS THE REASON SHE GAVE FOR SENDING US AWAY, AFTER TWO VISITS, AND MANY HOURS OF WAITING, AFTER HE WAS TRYING TO DONATE BLOOD, THIS IS HOW HE WAS TREATED. Absolutely the most horrendous abysmal service I've ever seen, I'm absolutely infuriated my brother had to go through all of this. This practice should be ashamed of not only their poor customer service but also their just complete lack of knowledge of human anatomy. Don't bother yourselves with this pseudoscience barf stain of a clinic, if you want to donate blood literally anywhere else would be better. read more

The Bio life Plasma center in Bolingbrook. The staff is great but it seems I have to donate over 900 mils while others are my same weight is donating 880. They say its the weight and nutrients are base on what people donate. But other donation centers just have you donate 880 or less depending on your weight. And Bolingbrook pay less then any other center that I go to.It might be worth going to Bolingbrook if they have a good promotion going on,but other then that not worth the gas or time to go there. Again the staff is great. read more

My daughter is a broke college student and went there to donate. Was there for 2.5 hours while she filled out paperwork answered questions and after 2.5 hours was sent home for a sniffly nose. That's fine. Perfectly understandable but why make her wait 2.5 hours before sending her home. That is a long time to be there for nothing!! What a waste of time and very inconsiderate. As if her time is not valuable. read more

This place is a joke. I don't know how much money people make here since I got deferred from donating because I'd gotten a tattoo even though on the website they said if it was from a state licensed place you could donate and even though I could prove that he used a new needle and new ink. I waited and answered questions for almost 2 hours and when I was going through the physical the nurse asked if I'd gotten any tattoos and I said yes and she KEPT ASKING QUESTIONS. She asked me 18 more questions before telling me I wasn't eligible to donate, so it made me think the tattoo was fine and got my hopes up. The fact that they make you wait so long for nothing is dumb. Those health questions should be asked first instead of going through a blood draw and a bunch of other things. If you aren't eligible you should know within 30 minutes so you can leave and go about your day. Dumbest crap I've ever seen. read more

I've had nothing but great experiences thanks to Autumn. She's the reason I look forward to my appointments. She's always welcoming, professional, and has a way of making the whole donation process feel easy and stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she helps, and it shows in the way she treats everyone with kindness and patience. She's incredibly skilled at what she does, and her positive attitude makes a big difference every visit. It's not often you come across someone who is both excellent at their job and so personable. Autumn is truly an incredible employee, and her kindness and dedication don't go unnoticed. BioLife is fortunate to have her on their team. read more
