The staff and extra care people have been excellent. As it turns out, he needs more care so right now he is in the assisted living portion. They are very kind and respectful of the people they're caring for. I would highly recommend it and my husband and I have all said it would be a fun place to live as we age. Great activities. I visited this location several months ago before they were even open. I was looking for a place…read morefor my Mom in case I was not able to care for her at home anymore. I met with Jane. We quickly identified that my Mom needed a higher level of care than this facility could provide. Nonetheless, Jane spent over an hour with me helping me learn of other resources that might be available to me, including hospice. I then was able to arrange for hospice through Mid Michigan Home Care and within a month and a half my Mom passed away, surrounded by our family and with her husband sleeping on the sofa next to her when she died in her sleep. Had it not been for Jane, I would have had to admit her into a hospital in order for her to be provided pain relief during her final days. My gratitude for Jane is limitless, and if she is any indication of the staff that is being hired at this location you would be incredibly fortunate to have them helping your parents.
