During the quote, I showed the salesperson, Lawrence, two sinking areas in my front sidewalk. He said they would raise those areas at no additional charge. When the crew arrived, I explained that sprinkler lines ran along both sides of the sidewalk and asked whether there was any risk of damaging them. They assured me there was not. They then proceeded to cut sprinkler lines at both locations. I left a voicemail at their main office asking how this issue would be resolved. Lawrence returned my call and said Detroit Concrete Leveling was not responsible for the damage based on terms noted on the back of the quote. The work provided at "no additional charge" ended up costing me $499 for sprinkler system repairs. I strongly recommend you do NOT hire Detroit Concrete Leveling. They do not take responsibility for damaging customers' property. If ownership disclaims responsibility, customers should not expect the work crews to show adequate care for their property. If you still choose to hire Detroit Concrete Leveling, I recommend budgeting extra money beyond the quoted price. You may need it to repair damage cause by their careless or indifferent work. REPLY TO THE OWNER'S COMMENTS OF 7/17/26 Michael - I left a voicemail at your main office on the morning of July 9 regarding the sprinkler damage. Later that afternoon, I received a return call from Lawrence, the salesperson. He stated that Detroit Concrete Leveling does not accept responsibility for property damage and characterized my situation as "unfortunate." He offered either to attempt the repairs himself or that I hire a sprinkler company do so. When I asked whether he had any sprinkler repair experience, he confirmed that he did not. Given the extent of the damage caused by your company and the need for qualified sprinkler repair professionals, I declined Lawrence's offer. Your statements that you requested the opportunity to come to my property to inspect the situation personally and that the "request was declined" are false. I declined only Lawrence's offer to attempt the sprinkler repairs. You did not contact me directly, and neither Lawrence nor any other company employee conveyed any request from you to inspect the damage. I could not have declined an offer that was never communicated to me, and your characterization of these events does not accurately reflect what occurred.

These guys are the real deal!…read more I canvassed 8 companies my biggest factor was Customer Service and Craftsmanship.... I had higher and lower quotes but the above items were only checked by Concrete Pros! Working with Chris and Jesus was amazing! Both guys came onsite spoke to me and listened to everything I wanted and added their own ideas to, when we made our decision to go with them they came back out and finalized spray painting the areas to show the size. Chris was the main point of contact he answered all my text messages in amazing time never did I have to wait hours or days for a response. Jesus was the mastermind on the job site paying great attention to detail to everything he did and making sure I was 100% satisfied through and through! Once we agreed on price and layout I wasn't in a rush and whenever they could get me in then it was fine. After signing off on the contract and the deposit Chris was able to submit the permit and within 2 weeks I was scheduled. The dates and times were awesome they were on time and completed my job within 3 days. Their crew was hardworking individuals that never stopped! There was no trash left behind and made sure our yard was as clean as possible, they laid boards down for their trucks to go on the grass also, no matter what the grass has turned yellow because of the extreme heat and lack of sprinklers because of the cement install which was expected. Concrete Pros is a company that prides themselves on Quality over Quantity which makes us extremely happy. Thank you guys for the awesome service both Customer related and Quality related we will be back for more work and we will be recommending you to everyone!

After I removed it, I found that most of the block support behind that was also loose or missing. I put in a call to several contractors for quotes. Brickworks was the first to respond and came up with an innovative repair plan. All others immediately said the whole porch would need replaced at almost 2x Brickworks quote. Decided to take a chance and was quite pleased. They repaired the structure, installed new fascia brick and were able to salvage some flagstone pieces to repair the surface of the porch. Everything was coated with waterproofing. However, when they were done they did an amazing cleanup and even repaired and seeded a few sq ft of damaged grass and reinstalled mulch around the porch. You would never have known that they were there except for the fact that the porch looked amazing. This work was done last year. It weathered great during the winter. I've always meant to post a review but never got around to it. I'd get a guilty feeling every time I'd see their trailer. Today I couldn't take it any more and just had to post. Would recommend them without reservation!

Ive been trying to get a call back for two months and no matter how many times I call it's the same thing, I'll have someone get back to you, it never happens and frustration is now at a high. 75% of my chimney is 70 years old and looks great but the work they did is beginning to show major signs of wear and tear. Now I understand why they only offer a five-year warranty!! Customer service is horrible and craftsmanship has a lot to be desired. My fault I guess for thinking I hired a reputable company.

They completed the project in record time, even fitting me in ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief considering spring rains were on their way. The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, and respectful of my property. They communicated with me every step of the way, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly, sending me photos of the work to assuage any concerns. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, and they left my yard in perfect condition, cleaning up meticulously after the job was done. One wrench in the project was that I had an invisible fence line that ran through multiple areas of excavation, and I knew there was no chance that line wasn't going to be cut. What really blew me away, was that Cristian went out and repaired the damage and the line works perfectly again; talk about above and beyond! A week later, the drainage system works perfectly, and my yard is shockingly dry considering the recent heavy rain. I highly recommend Hills Excavation for any complicated and muddy yard-related needs--they exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm glad I no longer feel like Shrek telling people to, "get out of my swamp!"

That's when he told me he had actually been hoping I wouldn't call back because All Brick Design could not honor the quote he had given me. He said the job would cost significantly more than the written estimate. I don't understand the purpose of providing a written quote if the company has no intention of honoring it. When I told him I would leave a review based on my experience, he accused me of threatening him. A review is not a threat--it's a way for customers to share their honest experiences with others.
