I've lived here for about 7 months and love it. Anjela was very helpful getting me into my…read moreapartment and she has continued to be helpful with any concern I have had. The rest of the office staff, maintenance and janitorial staff are all super friendly and efficient. I've had a few repairs that were fixed quickly with no issues or mess left behind. These people care about their residents and take care of business. I'm in the second building so the walk to the parking garage is a trek. The trade off is that it's quiet and the gym is in my building. I've had no problems with the garage, parking or any towing issues. The pool gets a little loud in summer on the weekends but it's a fun vibe and it's all residents. We have easy access to the river, panther island pavilion and downtown Fort Worth is just up the hill. This location is perfect for me. I highly recommend Encore Panther Island to anyone looking for an apartment.

My Gf and I applied for this place almost a month ago now. We were approved then paid all the move…read morein fees. We realized two weeks before we move in and two weeks after we were accepted that we had not received a lease agreement to sign so we called and asked for the lease agreement. They informed us that they would send it to us by the end of the day. Three days went by and no update until the end of the day on Friday at 4:45-4:50 that we were over income and we could no longer live here. For the past week now we have emailed them asking for a simple written email explaining why we were denied and the date we would be refunded. We were told over the phone that we would receive the application fee and the move in fees as well. Over the week we have not received any reply to the email or have been told it will be sent either "by end of the day or tomorrow for sure" and neither have been true. This has put us in a bad spot because we need the money that we put into the move in fees and application to apply for other housing and move in fees. As well as finding somewhere else to live in a limited timeframe. I would not recommend this community at all considering how well the front office and management is at getting back with its future residents and sending essential paper work. We were really excited to move in and now it's a nightmare trying to get assurance that we will be refunded and an email detailing when and the amount we will get refunded.

I am going to explain our terrible journey. One month into to our application and approval to move…read morein, we were then informed at last moment that we were above AMI. No told us until the last minute. My wife and I were royally screwed over. After speaking for months with staff they finally told us we made just above the AMI but at end of application process. They stated it was on their website to defend themselves. This information which must be found by actively seeking out the essential housing information was not in plain site or highlighted. I suggest they train staff to make this clear before encouraging applications and wasting peoples time. This was only after we paid for an application and took of work multiple times to complete paper work. Some staff were nice while others had a lot of attitude when asked for updates or general questions (to make sure e everything was in order). Not once did the manager or staff look at our initial application and tell us that they had switched to operating solely for attainable housing. They were several items they did not tell us to fill out paperwork until I asked about them. They ask us to fill in compliance paper work even through we made above AMI. They would have waited who knows how long if we had not ask what the next steps are. Terrible communication unless prompted. They required that we come in the middle of work day to complete compliance paper work. We were very excited and optimistic until the end. The staff attitude and training needs to be improved. The establishment is likely to go down hill with new management. We had friends that live in community and it seemed great and always had good things to say. Unfortunately the new change in management in October will likely ruin such a great community. Since they are limiting essential housing they pushing out potential tenants that could strengthen the diversity of community.
