Without them residents are left without necessities when you are in a bind. With good crews you have happy residents, with bad ones you have lasting memories that can make or break a lease renewal. This shout out goes to William C who was on duty after hours in the AM of 2/17/2021. Apparently ruptured pipes caused a fire alarm trip in the wee hours that brought sleepy residents out into an unprecedented winter storm. I am visiting someone at the complex and was wanting an update on what was going on. I called the after hours number and left a message. When I got the call back (I've been at apartments who don't call back) he was more than helpful. Despite being late and bitterly cold he had a great attitude and provided details on what the problem was and the steps that were being done to resolve and offer options in case things took a turn for the worse. Once cleared to go back in I felt confident things would resolve quickly and felt happy to know he was working hard for us patrolling the rest of the night in the snow to assure no other issues arose. He was so friendly and he conveyed a genuine care about the service he provides... and those types of things really stand out to residents. Your complex should be lucky to have someone on board like William taking care of things with such a great attitude when things get rough and we need after hours care. You ROCK WILLIAM!

The rest of the office staff, maintenance and janitorial staff are all super friendly and efficient. I've had a few repairs that were fixed quickly with no issues or mess left behind. These people care about their residents and take care of business. I'm in the second building so the walk to the parking garage is a trek. The trade off is that it's quiet and the gym is in my building. I've had no problems with the garage, parking or any towing issues. The pool gets a little loud in summer on the weekends but it's a fun vibe and it's all residents. We have easy access to the river, panther island pavilion and downtown Fort Worth is just up the hill. This location is perfect for me. I highly recommend Encore Panther Island to anyone looking for an apartment.

The Madera staff will be friendly and professional until you sign the lease. Then you'll be ignored and treated like a nuisance. With the number of quality apartment communities in the area, do yourself a favor and find another place to rent.

It's now October and our list of open work orders continues to grow and has not changed since March and the customer service and maintenance staff is lacking to say the least. There is no advance scheduling to get the work done maintenance stopped by today unannounced to ask if we still have open work orders and asked what needs to be fixed which is a joke considering we have had multiple work orders open since March. It's a never ending loop of poor customer service and excuses. We had water damage from the rain in May damaging the flooring and causing mold to form around damaged area and we sent pics and still no sense of urgency. The garbage pick up process is horrible and I feel terrible for the tenants in the apartments next to the smelly indoor trash-chute. Adding to an already frustrating situation the building sold a couple months ago and is now under new ownership and they are raising the rent $400 a month! $4k a month seems like a lot for a Town Home that is outdated and needs a lot of maintenance. Think twice before renting here!
