The "doctor" who only spoke to me for a total of 1 minute, maybe, did not find issues with that at all, even though I am a MOTHER and need to be able to stay away throughout the day. Duh? I will never recommend this place to anyone, and I felt the affects of being overdosed for months after this two almost 3 week stay. I guarantee they try to hold Medicaid patients longer. I was admitted in July of 2025. That doctor does not give a CRAP about a single patient. Showing off his Gucci belt daily, cutting you off, putting his computer directly in front of your face so they wont have to , god forbid..look you in the face as they're cashing out from your drugging? They say they will give you a caseworker for the next steps which never happens. They keep you high on pills rater than addressing the real issue. They constantly run out of food, milk, water and necessities. They misplaced about $500 worth of my clothes to another room knowing which room I had been in the entire time. The BHT's can care less if you are even breathing during the night, they slam doors all night shift and laugh at the people that are in serious need. They are all about the money and can care less about your well being or getting sobriety. I honestly would rather go to jail than this place which is very sad.

The type of care received physical, occupational and speech therapy was quality care. Her last weekend experience in the facility became a unethical incomprehensible unimaginable experience when patient dumping occurred, patient abandonment and premature discharge (Sunday) with failure to secure an after-care facility before the patient transport to another facility. No proper care plan was completed to secure her next steps for care. The other facility had not received authorization from a doctor at Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital. She waited on a stretcher in the front lobby of the other facility for up to an hour only to have the transporter tell us he must take her to the hospital down the street. This caused undue stress, worry, and anxiety for the patient and family. Again, where she laid on a stretcher outdoors inside the patient transport vehicle until we got word to bring her back to Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital because the patient was in a state of abandoned.

I was given the daily tools to use for my sobriety. The small group setting feels safe and comfortable along with a staff that is very positive, knowledgeable, supportive and kind. I came to realize that I have a disease...not to be ashamed of. Now that I am an "alumni," I go back once a week for after care as part of the program. I still feel very much a part of the Hotel California Family. This is a unique program that is very different than other intensive outpatient programs in the city. I'm so happy Cincinnati has this available for people who want the freedom of a sober and happy life. Do not bring your loved ones here or your enemies for that matter…read more I was brought to a room where I was trying ld to put the gown on and she gave me a blanket. She closed the door and I didn't see anybody else for two hours. Doctor came in and ordered some medicine and a Cat scan. The nurse started my IV, I have kidney disease so I told her I was a hard stick she got it the first time and said it wasn't her best work but it would do. About ten minutes later it started leaking, I called the desk and was told someone would be in, well about ten minutes later my arm was swollen and I had water all over the bed. The nurse finally came in and discontinued the IV and said the excess water under my skin would absorb in a couple of days. She left... The radiologist who took me to Cat scan, did my CAT scan and then asked if she could try the start my IV after I already had my test. She stuck the needle in my arm and it went right through the vein and I told her it hurt and she kept digging around at which point she must have hot a nerve and I pulled back. I told her to stop, she then looked at the male radiologist and said I moved. What???? Now it's my fault??? I came back to my room where a nurse came and did a set of vitals and I told her what happened, she said she didn't understand why she would even try when she was not told to do so and the doctor said to just wait. I am calling patient services in the morning to share my experience with hopes it might make a difference but I truly doubt it. My room was dirty, the floors were disgusting! I was in this little claustrophobic room with the door shut. I am not sure this room even met Covid standards. Avoid this hospital if you value your life, at least the emergency room!!!
