I've spent SO much money in this establishment over the years when I visit my mom in MT we always make a trip. Last couple times the older woman with the crepey face was terrible. No greeting upon entering, completely avoided eye contact every time I tried to make it to say hello. She was rude, rushed and made me feel so very very unwelcome when I checked out. I'm sad for the vendors here because she makes the whole experience so bad I don't ever want to go back. I would leave negative stars if I could. I've been a retailer and could never imagine ever making customers feel the way she made me and my poor mother feel. The owner is very rude. Doesn't even greet you when you walk in the door. Store does not even have a working bathroom... What a joke.

Was shopping there yesterday, found a great Filson jacket, had a nice conversation with shopkeeper about the value and price, he agreed and put the jacket at the register, while standing near by I overheard the shopkeeper discussing the jacket, when I went to pay the price was swapped from 45.00 to 250.00 It's to bad their vendors have such dishonest folks representing them, my wife and I walked out in total disbelief read more

Nice store with a large amount of reasonably priced treasures. Found a easily restored logging truck I had to have. Owner is very business like and not big on small talk, don't expect a warm greeting or interest in any short stories on how elated you are to find your item. Appreciate that the store is still here and it's evidently efficiently run. read more

My daughter and I strolled into this antique store today while visiting Anaconda. It is full of antiques large and small, with a great selection of reasonably priced vintage Pyrex! I had decided within the first 2 minutes of entering the building that I was not going to be purchasing anything, because the owner was too busy reading a newspaper or something to greet us, she never even looked up. This is a huge pet peeve of mine! if you own a business and customers walk in at least greet them! The owner didn't greet anyone who came in after us either, rude. We left after perusing the store and took our business elsewhere. read more

Wow- I could've spent hours in this place. So many incredible treasures- wish I could've bought more--suitcase/flying problems! Anaconda is a historical treasure trove- this store lets you take some of it home. Individual vendors sell their items here, but it doesn't have the individual stalls- the feel of it all being one continuous store was much nicer than the normal rent a stall antique shops. Will be returning to explore next time I'm in town. read more

For starters, walking through the front door automatically was the beginning of a horrible experience. The older man at the register yelled at my little boy, (why would you leave a type writer right next to the door) and continued to say he would not be allowed to touch anything. Respecting that a child can break things, we did have a conversation that we can't touch anything. Continuing through the store, my other family member had a coffee with a lid and straw and was yelled at for having it in the store. He is a grown adult who knows how to hold a cup but as well as there was no sign saying he wasn't allowed to have it. The older man mentioned earlier in the store, continued to follow him around the store and continuously watch him even after he got rid of the drink. And then proceeded to yell at my mom for leaving his drink outside as although that weren't his wishes!!! All of 10 minutes spent in the store consisted of rude and vile behavior from those who were running it. Do not recommend waisting your time touring the place and giving them your money!!! I'm giving this store 2 stars because it is a cute and well laid out facility, however the owner was extremely rude to my entire family. My 17 year old son found a Spanish sword here, he has been wanting one for as long as I can remember, when he picked it up he had the biggest smile on his face. Let me remind you that he is practically a grown man, old enough to enlist in the military and fight for our country, but the owner was more concerned about him carefully walking through than the fact that I was purchasing said sword. The owner commented "don't go swinging that around. You break it you buy it," and then stormed up the stairs. I'm not stupid, I know that you can't ACTUALLY make me buy something that I break, that is what insurance is for. I spent $230 at this store, after my daughter went to purchase more records, and again the owner was making snarky remarks to his cashier about my son. Love this store! I come in, every time I travel through, and I always find unique treasures. There are a lot of great midcentury pieces, too! The owner was friendly, as were the vendors I bumped into. And of course, the dogs are adorable. read more
